Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to Number 17 Platypus Close in Kuranda today. I’m super duper excited. I’m always excited about my properties as you well know however, this one really is a bit special. It’s all about the views and we’ll see that when we go up into the house. We have about 2 and a bit acres 2.3 acres. It is fenced along the front, this is Platypus Close and we have electric gates to start with. The house is only about 2005 and it’s a split-level property. The main living area is upstairs. We’ve got three bedrooms, we’ve got a main bathroom, beautiful open living area, then underneath very separate, we have three extra rooms, we have a laundry and another bathroom. We have gas cooking, electric oven, and it is actually a standalone cooker, we’ve got mountains and mountains of space, we’ve got the barbie just right out here and of course we still got these stunning views.

The orientation of a house is really important. I’m in the main area here, you’ve just come in out the balcony under the master bedroom, the office is up the top left-hand side, we have the second bedroom on the right and you’re just about to walk into the bathroom fabulous luxury shower. In your go and have a look, it’s to die for.

We’ve just been upstairs and we’ve looked at the living area and this fabulous deck underneath we’ve got three extra rooms. We’ve got one that’s used as a bedroom, we’ve got that’s used as massage room and one that’s actually used at the moment as storage room and the two rooms actually join. The laundry and the bathroom are also underneath. Have a wander.

As we come down the driveway, we have the electric gates just there as you come in. We have this eight by nine, nine by nine not sure but it’s ginormous man shed. We do have power, we have a little whirligig on the top so you get plenty of ventilation, we’ve got this big roller door and we’ve got this entrance here. Let me open it up for you and come in and have a quick look. It really is big.
