Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 84, Cardinia Boulevarde in Speewah. We have another beautiful Speewah day and just as special is this property. It’s set on really, really, really private five acres, but on top of that, the house, that we’re just about to have a look at, is only about 10 years old. It’s had one owner and it is absolutely immaculate. You’re going to fall in love with this whole beautiful property. Let’s go in and have a look.

Welcome into the main house. Now, a couple of things you’ll have noticed is the great big long driveway and lots and lots of really yummy bits of garden just as you come up makes it feel really homely and really special. Then of course at the top of the drive, a massive shed, which we will go and have a look at shortly. That’s about 100 square metres, so you can just do all sorts of stuff in there. The first thing that you’ll notice when we come into the main house is the space. As I said, the house is only about 10 years old and it is absolutely immaculate in every shape or form. The grout and the tiles, you could actually eat your dinner off, they are so clean. Anyway, a little bit of orientation.
We come into this main area. Off to the side, we’ve got a little office nook, neatly tucked behind closed doors. We have got two bedrooms, we have got a bathroom and we’ve got a toilet off to that side and then on this side of the house, we’ve actually got the entrance into the huge garage that we’ve seen at the front. We have got the laundry and we’ve got the master wing, which has got a beautiful big walk-in-robe and an even bigger ensuite, but kitchens. Let’s walk this way.
This is absolutely beautiful. As I said, it is like a brand new house. This is granite, this really does feel luxurious, and of course, we have got this really huge entertainment area out the back which, again, we’ll go have a look at. We’ve got granite bench tops, beautiful stainless steel sink. For those who love gas cooking, we have got a gas cooker, so it’s a gas cooktop plus an actual gas oven. We have got all that functionality for baking, whatever it is you fancy baking in that oven. We’ve got yummy side drawers and a pantry. When you think about pantries, you think of just a little cupboard, this is absolutely huge, and we can go and have a quick look.

Isn’t this just a fabulous, great big light bright and airy living space? Before we have a look at the bedrooms and, more importantly, the land and the outdoor entertaining area, you have to have a look at this. Even in Speewah, we have those chilly winter nights and and we can see it’s beautifully stocked up with wood, so it’s clearly being used. It’s that really nice homely, cozy feel to this whole property. Next step is two bedrooms and a bathroom and a separate toilet. Go in and have a look.

One of the things that you’ll have noticed with the bedrooms on the side of the house and of course the main bedroom too, is that they all open out onto this amazing entertainment area. We’ve got a huge balcony all the way around the house, and the doors are absolutely beautiful, they are red cedar. They give the whole area a sense of not just like a cottage, but something that is outdoor lifestyle, great entertaining and, obviously, just super-duper organic.
Now, we had the main section of the living area here and we can go into the master bedroom, obviously, down the hallway, but I just wanted to show how open and free this beautiful property is, and we’re going to go into the master wing via the deck. We’ll have a look at the shed in a minute, we’ll have a look at the gardens in a minute, but we’ve got a really, really large bedroom, we have got fantastic ensuite, and really great walk-in-robe. Wasn’t that master wing absolutely luxurious? This whole property does feel like a resort. When we talk about space, the rooms are big and they’re bright, we’ve got high-set ceilings and the whole area under roof is about 320 square metres. That is a serious amount of family living space. On top of that, we’ve got the beautiful five acres that I mentioned at the beginning, and we will have a look at the gardens. See, the sun’s out today, it’s making me squint.
As we come round here, we’ll see there’s a veggie patch, but this shed, serious damage could be done in this shed: hobbies, projects, you could almost run a business from here. It’s about 100 square meters and the current owner is obviously using it to its full capacity. We’ve got concrete floor, so it’s super easy to keep clean or to hose out or to brush out. We’ve got obviously electricity and we’ve got work benches and plenty of room – this is a great big ride-on mower, so it gives you a sense of scale.
Of course we’ve got roller door number one, roller door number two and another access door over there. If you wanted to use the drive-in garage attached to the house, you could extend that and make it a larger room in the house and of course, you’ve still got plenty of space for workshops and two or three or four or five cars in here if you wanted to. One of the things absolutely fantastic about having a property this size is that you can have an area that it’s all fenced, this little bit for little critters, where you can grow your veggies or your herbs or fruit trees or germinate little plants. It really does make you feel like you are living just the ultimate lifestyle dream. We have unbelievable mandarins. You could just imagine on a Sunday, putting on your shorts, putting on your singlet, and just pottering away and life just does not get much better than this. It’s to die for.

We have got an orchard all the way through behind us with glorious fruit trees and of course, we have a veggie patch just up next to the house. This is a really, really, really special deck. It’s amazing.
