Angela: Hi, I’m Angela Martin. Welcome to 8 Sanctuary Close in Speewah. If you’ve dreamed about having a lush five-acre property, fully fenced with – and this is the fabulous part – a converted horse stable that you can use as a weekender, then you’re going to just be amazed at this property. There are converted horse stables, and then there are luxury converted horse stables of which this is one. Now, it’s actually approved, fully council-approved as a shed, but you can just imagine, if you wanted to build your ultimate house, we have got- and we’ll have a look at that just a minute- beautiful elevated pad just right there with all the services- power, phone, flushing toilet- just right here at your doorstep. Of course, there’s this great little patio that you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea, brekkie in the morning for that weekender package. It’s just divine. Let’s come and have a look.
It is light and- what’s the words? It is bright. It is definitely airy. It’s got this brilliant touch of the original, I suppose, where the little horsies would hang over just like I’m doing just now. It’s all insulated. It’s a concrete floor. We have got sliding windows, gorgeous tiles, new kitchen, and a gas cooker that still needs to be hooked up but it is actually functional. The cooker does work. Of course, we’ve got tap running water. You can see all the olds posts. Just imagine the history in here. Absolutely gorgeous.
Patio, like I said, just imagine sitting, relaxing there at the end of the day. This is just huge. We’ve got hot water, we’ve got a shower that absolutely works. New septic system. Toilet actually flushes. When you build your a new house, you can use the existing septic. That’s a cost that you don’t have to even worry about. We’ve got phone antenna and, of course, as I said, we’ve got power and we’ve got water. Everything is here for you just to start building. Let’s go over there and have a look at that house pad.

We’ve come out onto this elevated, just lovely part of the garden. That could ultimately be an art studio or it could be a little Airbnb. You’d obviously have to seek council approval but that is self-contained and just- can be used for whatever you want it to be used for. This is where you would probably build your house. We have breezes. We have got rain forest views. We have got gorgeous gardens. All the way around the property, the gardens have been started as in little rainforest walks.
Because we’re on a corner block as well, we have got a huge big area down the other side that you could put in a dam or a Billabong. You could just have little walks down there, little trails down there. The gardens and the rainforest, they’re really quite special and magical, actually. With the orientation, our gate is down the front. We came up the new driveway. It’s literally only a couple weeks old.
We’ve got the grassed area up here. It’s there, it’s sculpted, it’s earth-moved. All the services are here. It really is just ready to build your dream. We’ll have a bit of a quick look around the garden, and then we’ll come back up to the shed.

I have to show just a couple of little special things in this garden because I love the rainforest gardens. They’re unbelievable. This tree, I need you to google it, it is called a rainbow tree. If you have a look at the trunk, it’s like watercolor. It’s pink, it’s purple, it’s teal, it’s blue. It is apparently one of the fastest growing trees on the planet. This was planted not so long ago- and I’m talking just really not so long ago- and it was that size. Look at the height of it. It grows at an enormous rate. It is a beautiful, big, mature shade tree. You can imagine when it’s raining. That is just going to look absolutely stunning.
We have our bore pump facility here. The quality of the bore water is brilliant, crystal-clear water, not minerally. Again, you’re never going to run out of water. You can use it until your heart’s content for watering things like your rainbow tree. We’re on a corner block so we’re going to have to wander around the corner and have a look at a bit more of the rainforest part of the property.

We’re on the corner side of the property. Sanctuary Close runs that way and Speewah Road runs this way. This is just to let you see that we’ve got a combination or fencing, wooden rail fencing for horses, for example, and other metal type fences. You can actually walk all the way around the perimeter without any problem at all. This is just to let you see that it’s a nice, easy walk all the way around your property.
We’re at lower part. The house and the sheds are elevated, but we have got heaps and heaps and heaps of space down here where you could put in- I mentioned about Billabong or a dam in amongst the rainforest. We’ve got Pandanus, beautiful trees. You can see the slope going up that way, which actually is up towards the driveway. Yes, it is just- it’s accessible, it’s private, it’s got birds, it’s got butterflies. Of course, you got all that functionality up the top, ready to go. Let’s go back up, have a look at that little shed one more time.
You can see that there’s plenty of combination of open grassland next to the shed and, of course, up this side as well. It’s not a huge great big area. At the top of the driveway, we have two shipping containers. Now, you can have the shipping containers or not. If you want them here, they can stay. If you want them taken away, they can also be taken away. But who wouldn’t want a couple of shipping containers for all that gorgeous stuff that you can store? Garden stuff- yes. They’re just so super duper handy.

I mentioned about little gardens being started. These are just glorious little bits of color. We got a little baby bank here, little Minmins. Just around here, we have got rainforest track with bromeliads. You can just see some gorgeous purple ground cover starting. We’ve spoken about the containers. I just want to do a bit of a quick wrap-up with this brilliant, I mean brilliant, shed. Five acres, fully fenced, new driveway. We have all the mod cons of a weekender. A converted horse stable. You could absolutely have horses on this property.
We’ve got a pad just right there for a new house, brand new septic system that you can use when we build the house. Of course, I’m standing in this patio that you really could just use in the meantime for pretty much anything. Inclusions, we spoke about the shipping container. You would just– Personally, I would want shipping containers but you don’t have to. This lovely little John Deere ride-on, it’s not brand new but it works. It works beautifully. That actually comes with the property as well.
