Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to this absolutely delightful 2.6 acre rainforest property. We’re at number 8 Pioneer Close in Speewah and it’s got privacy, it’s got location. We’re at the end of a no through road and the house is actually at the end of a very long driveway which we’ll see in just a minute. As we come along the driveway, we’ve got sparkly sun, we have got beautiful rainforest trees, we have got a piece of bamboo there that looks like it’s been there forever. Let’s go have a look at the house, we’ve got three bedrooms, two bathrooms, we’ve got an office nook, a rumpus room, and a work shed with a basement. You’re just going to fall in love with it, let’s head up and have a look.

The driveway, as you can see, is just lovely, you’re not going to have any problems with the cars in the wet season either because you’ve got all those stones, you are not driving on grass. Then we have these beautiful organic steps, blue stone, one of my favorites. We’ve come up the drive, we have come under a little area where we’ve got the work shed and this is us coming up into the front of the house here. Beautiful caladiums, I won’t bore you with all the details, but aren’t they just absolutely stunning.
As I mentioned, we’ve got three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A house is split level, so we enter in the top level, which has got the main living area, it’s got an office nook, it’s got the laundry, it’s got a fabulous balcony at the back. It’s also got a great little balcony here and it’s also got one of the bedrooms plus a bathroom. Let’s go in and have a look at this level here.

Come on in, this is the little entrance area that has been converted into nook, office nook. It’s supremely practical. Off to a side here, we’ve got a laundry which is nice and discreet. Come on through, we have got the main part of the living area. We’ll go downstairs in a minute which is where the main rumpus with two bedrooms, another bathroom actually. Then off to the back, we’ve got a bathroom, we’ve got a bedroom and this is fantastic. It’s big and it’s bright and it’s spacious, and we have an oversized kitchen area.
Lovely benchtops. Just completely usable, heaps and heaps of cupboard space. One of the most exciting parts is that we’re just four meters, five meters away from an absolutely fantastic entertainment area out in the balcony. It’s just gorgeous.

You just come out at the bedroom, don’t you just love that feature wall in that main living area. Now, the bathroom is an oversized bathroom, but what’s really brilliant, I think, about it is the fact that you’ve got your bath and then to this side of the bath, you’ve actually got your showers on the wall. You’ve actually got the best of both worlds. It’s tiled, it’s modern, we’ve got glass and mirrors for doing your shaving, putting your makeup on. It really is superbly functional and it looks great.

Let’s head downstairs. This takes us directly into the rumpus area which we can actually access from the front of the driveway. You can come in either round that way up to the balcony or you come in this way through the big double doors. This is a fabulous area. We’ve got a shower room under the stairs, we have got two other bedroom, but this, you really could make another bedroom, you could make it a living area. It’s clearly used, at the moment, for the man in the family. Ducati red, my favorite color, absolutely glorious.
I don’t think it comes with the property, but I do believe that the bike is for sale, so if you are interested, you can give me a call. In the meantime, have a look, have a look at the bedrooms and that fantastic brand new showroom under the stairs.

We’ve been upstairs, we have come downstairs, we’ve been at the rumpus area, and this is us back on the pad just at the top of the driveway. Here we have a six meter man cave. It has light, it’s got power, but one of the really fascinating things about this particular shed is that it’s two-story.
If you go and there and have a little sticky beak, we’ve got a concrete floor and then we’ll go around the back and underneath, there’s the same again and the concrete floor is actually the ceiling and it’s double block underneath. Have a quick sticky beak and then we’ll head downstairs and have another look.

Wasn’t that a great upper level to a shed? You will notice too that we’ve got fly screens all over the house, we’ve got a little patio, so we’ve got orientation that leads through into the kitchen living area. This way is down to the bottom underneath side of the shed. It’s amazing what you could actually do down here.
We’ve got concrete block which just makes it supremely, supremely strong. As I mentioned, we’ve actually got the concrete floor upstairs which is the ceiling or the roof in here, and we’ve got concrete floors. Come on in. Now that you are in, you could do whatever you wanted with it. Could be an art enough studio, could be a place where you would even store cars. It could be a workshop, could be a cyclone bunker in the event that we have a cyclone. Again, you could just use your imagination. It’s a fabulous spot.

We are heading back out into the garden, wasn’t that fantastic in there? I know that you are just going to love it, especially the deck. When we came in, we didn’t really mention too much about here, but we’ve got a brand new shade cloth sail which just gives us lots of protection and I think it has about a 7 or a 10 year warranty. It just adds that lovely little bit of ambiance, if you like. When you’re sitting out here, or you get your barbecue area, it’s just lovely, absolutely lovely, but let’s get into the garden. We have got veggie patch, we have a property that is actually fenced on all three sides. If you’ve got animals or dogs or little pets, you don’t have to worry about them escaping.
My veggie patch up here good old Hill’s Hoist for hanging up a washing. A veggie patch doesn’t really have very many veggies in it at the moment, but again, it has been fenced so that all the little critters will find just a bit hard to actually get in. We’ve actually got a bit of lemongrass there which is doing pretty good actually, is looking pretty healthy. On this side of the property, we have got a seasonal creek and it runs all the way from the back, all the way down to the front.
You can actually go down the gully there and you can just put your feet in the water. It really is quite glorious. Sparkly blue sky, you’ve got about an acre, an acre and a bit, it’s all usable. As you can see, you can make it your own, you can put more fruit trees in if you like. You can really do whatever you want with your imagination, but it’s just gorgeous.

A beautiful great big long driveway and we’ve actually got a really big spot at the front of the property just as we came in. If you wanted to, there’s enough space there for a three bay or a four bay or a six bay shed. A lot of flat usable area. The house, again, just as a little recap, we’ve got three bedrooms, two bathrooms, we’ve got a office nook as we came in, and of course, we’ve got that fantastic rumpus area, a man cave underneath, plus we’ve got that two-story work shed.
