Angela Martin: Hi I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 78 Scenic Drive in Speewah, fantastic blue sparkly day today and we have a brilliant four bedroom brick low-maintenance house. We’re on three acres with a fantastic location, no through road in a really great part of Speewah, so let’s go through and have a look. You’re going to fall in love with this property.

Welcome down to the main house. We just walked through the great big double gates and the property actually is fully fenced. I mentioned about low maintenance, we’ve got concrete pretty much all the way around the house, but let’s come through. The first thing that you will notice about this particular house is that is fully tiled, it’s really light and it’s really bright and it’s also really really cool. Now, we’re in the main living area, we’ve got three bedrooms, as I mentioned, on the inside. We’ve got a bedroom here, we’ve got a bedroom here, and we’ve got a bedroom up at the back of the kitchen, and then on the outsides of the house into via the patio we’ve got two extra rooms.
Again, we could use it as a studio, we could use it as an office, but this really is a really big bright space, we’ve got air-conditioning too, and it is fully flyscreened. One of the things that you’ll notice is we come through this whole central kitchen area, again, is the space. Now, when you look out the window, I’m not sure if you can see it here, but we have actually got a fully enclosed area that used to have an above-ground pool, It is a pro fence compliant and then we will look out this window, we actually had a fantastic view of, I think what used to be an aviary, but you could use it as a nursery.
Of course, this is probably where you would put your great big dining room table, we have got the laundry behind us, and again, we have got bedrooms one, two and three, and it has plenty and plenty of cupboard space. Let’s go and have a look at bedrooms.

The master is a really big, again, look at the sunlight that’s coming in here, you could just imagine in the morning waking up. Beautiful blue sky and three glorious flat usable land acres in that direction. Now, again, fully functional, we’ve got private ensuite here, we’ve got plenty, plenty, plenty, plenty of cupboard space. Around here we have also got a really big walk-in robe, so go through a wander, you’re going to love that too.

We’ve just come out the main house and I mentioned that there was two extra rooms, if you like. It could be five bedrooms or it could be three bedrooms with an art studio and an office or it could be four bedrooms with an art studio or an office supremely flexible. We’ve come at the main house, you see the background here, we’ve got a great big shed, we’ll have a look at that in a minute. This is one of the other big main rooms and it is fully air-conditioned, so go and have a look.

We’re in the back, the back decked area, sort of unpaved area, I should say, and we’ve just come out of one of those external rooms, again, that lead off the concrete patio. We’ve got the master here, we’ve got the master ensuite. We’ve got one of the bedrooms and then we have the bathroom and then we have another bedroom. At the very end of the balcony, we’re going to go ahead there now and we’re going to have a look at the stables and the nursery of what used to be the aviary.

We just cut along the back balcony and, again, I did mention, we’ve got concrete all the way around the house, so fantastic for the wet tropics. Now, this was used as an aviary, but it has concrete floor, it’s got mesh, so you could use it for your animals, you could use it for birds, but if you’re a mud gab now you absolutely could use it for nursery germinate and all those lovely yummy tropical plants.
Go ahead and have a look, you can use it for every little imagination it takes.

This is seriously exciting, we’ve got a beautiful hot sparkly day outside and we’ve just come in past the little plant nursery or took pain, whatever you want to use it for, into the stable area and it just feels– It feels cool, it feels calm. You could just imagine horses in here, it’s fully fenced, the whole property is fully fenced, but you could have pigs, you could have little baby ponies, you really could, again, I keep going on about using your imagination, but this is a fantastic lifestyle space.

Isn’t that amazing, those stables, and I’m just standing here having a look at this tree, it is beautiful, looks like a really, really old ghost gum. We’ve got the stables, we’ve got our chook pen or a plant nursery, we’ve got the back of the house, great big water tank, of course. You’ll notice too we’ve got solar hot water which is fantastic for those who love hot showers. The garden is just glorious, it is flat, it’s all usable, we have a little billabong or a dam. We also have grove creek which is a little seasonal creek that runs down the back of the property, let’s go have a look at the dam.

Isn’t this just absolutely picturesque? Your own little billabong, you could imagine it with little lilies in there or, of course, if you have got horses or cattle, you could have that as their very big drinking pond. We’ve also got another little horse rest area up over in the far corner, but again, you can sit there with a daybed, you could read a book, you could just enjoy being. It really is a very, very, very calm property.

Come on in this fantastic– It’s a size of a three-bay shed, you’ll notice that we’ve got two roller doors and we have got a normal opening door, but this is magic. You can just imagine all your projects in here, you could be tinkering away, commonly known as a man’s shed, but I think a lady could also have lots of use for this. We’ve already got some little benches here, we’ve got plenty of sunlight, we’ve only got one roller door that’s open at the moment, but again, plenty of natural light heaps of concrete on the floor, easy to wash, easy to wipe.
