Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to 5 Kuranda Crescent in Kuranda. If you have been searching for a family low maintenance lifestyle property, where all you have to do is move in, this could be for you. The house has been completely renovated. Angela: As you know, in most houses that have two entrances, we have the family entrance and then, we have the guest entrance. We’ve just come in the family entrance and it’s because we’ve got this fantastic big carport just off to your left hand side, but we’ll look at that in a minute. Let’s just do a little bit of orientation. We’ve come down the bitumen driveway, we’ve come through the carport, we’ve come along the back veranda. We’ve come in the family entrance and we’re in this fantastic, great, big, open living space. Now, off to your left, as you come in the main door, we’ve got the office nook and the laundry. Just behind us again on the left, we’ve got one bedroom and then, down the hallway, we’ve got another bedroom, a bathroom, and my far left-hand corner, so far right-hand corner we’ve got a bedroom and then, we’ve got the master with the en suite in the far left-hand side. Let’s come over to the kitchen. Everyone knows that I love beautiful kitchens and this is no exception. We’ve got wooden bench tops, induction cooking, which means that you just press the button and it just cooks really quickly and it’s like gas, but only a much cleaner version. We’ve got views out to the carport and beautiful soft open and close doors. You’ll just going to fall in love with this kitchen. Have a wander through.

Angela: Hopefully, you’re getting a sense of how lovely and bright and airy this house is. We’ve just passed bedrooms one and two. We’re just about to go into the family bathroom and as I mentioned at the beginning, it has all been beautifully renovated, both bathrooms plus the kitchen. We’ve got a fabulous tub, we’ve got a really gorgeous vanity, and we’ve got a little separate privacy screen for the toilet, but it really has a beautiful luxury feel. Let’s go in and have a look.

Angela: If you thought the family bathroom had that beautiful luxury feel, wait till you go in into your en suite. We’ve got shower doors that make you feel like a movie star. They sort of open that way and they open like a semicircle. On top of the vanity, we’ve got those lovely little movie star lights that when you wake up in the morning, it does actually make you look extra special. Let’s go and have a look.

Angela: That was one of the entrances that we spoke about and of course, we’ve got the main entrance at the front, but all lifestyle properties have to open up onto the garden. This one creates a fantastic scenes of inside and outside. Let’s go for a wander into the garden and look at those shades. You’re going to fall in love with them.

Angela: Now, we’ve seen the inside of the house and it has that lovely, bright, open cosmopolitan feel. The outside has a Mediterranean feel and we’ve also got this wooden acrylic posts all the way along the back veranda that just help add that richness of wood and really lovely luxury feel, but when we came in at the beginning and we had a look at the carport, we probably didn’t realize just how big it was. We’re about six and a half meters wide and from the end of the bitumen, all the way through the concrete to the very end here, it’s about 11 meters. There’s plenty of space. There’s plenty of space up in the apex for storage, there’s plenty of space for cars, there’s plenty of space for boats. We’ll go for a wander down into the garden where we’ve actually got another car shed area which is another six by eight. Come this way. Check this out. This is a fantastic privacy screen that you could use to contain this three meter by a six and a half meter area. You could put in a hot tub, you could put in a spa, you could contain it here, so that you’ve got a place for your love dogs or children, but the space is so usable. Let’s go down and have a look at the shed. You’ll going to fall in love with that too.

Angela: I’m not a very big person, but this really is a big space. As I said when we were up at the main carport, this is about six by eight. It’s concrete slab and again, you could get all sorts of toys in here, or you can make it a workshop, or you could even build it into a little granny flat. Now, what I didn’t mention at the beginning is that we actually have two entrances. We’ve got the beautiful garden at the top with the fence and we got the bitumen driveway that comes down to the carport. On the other side of the fence as you look at the house on the right-hand side, we have a long driveway. It’s not bitumen, but you can get down with heavy machinery, or trucks, or cars, or boats straight in here. You’ve got all this beautiful cleared area that you can just enjoy.

Angela: I really hope you have enjoyed this personal tour of 5 Kuranda Crescent in Kuranda. Now, if we can just do a little bit of a recap, the house is a Mediterranean feel on the outside, but beautifully renovated, tiled, painted, sparkly, and cosmopolitan on the inside. The land is beautiful with tropical plants. Look at that. I think that’s an elephant ears. Where else in the world could you get that? We’re in about 1.1 acres, we’ve got two entrances. One which is the main entrance, bitumen. You don’t have to worry about water or getting stuck and you have your other entrance at the right-hand side of the fence where you can put your boats and your cars and everything down in there. The kitchen is brand new, we have even filtered water that we didn’t look at when we were in the kitchen, it is bright, we’ve got beautiful bathrooms, we can walk to the village. It really is a fantastic location.
