Angela Martin: Hi. I’m Angela Martin. Welcome to 5 Bangalow Place in Kuranda. This property is going to be absolutely perfect for you if you have been looking to live that ultimate lifestyle. We have lifestyle and we have lifestyle, but you still want beautiful garden, you still want an amazing kitchen, you still want a gorgeous swimming pool, and, of course, a shed, as you had seen when we came in, big enough for four cars. All of this is wrapped up at the end of a very private, quiet, no through roads. Let’s go in and have a look. You’re going to have to fall in love with it.

Welcome to this absolutely beautiful house. The first thing that you’re going to notice when you come in that front door is that the inside doesn’t necessarily reflect, as I said, the low-maintenance look and feel of the outside. This would have to be, and we will do orientation, but this will have to be one of the most amazing new kitchen extensions that I’ve seen in a very long time. Just take three seconds to marvel at this. It’s actually less that about 18 months old. It was finished in December 2017, and it really is the heart of the house.
Orientation is easy. We have got done this side master wing with a parents retreat and a humongous great, big walk-in robe. We’ve got second bedroom here, and then on this side we have got the laundry and separate toilet. Before we do anything else, just have a bit of a quick look here, and then I’m going to talk about the kitchen.

This kitchen absolutely is gorgeous, and I use the word again absolutely gorgeous because it is. It feels luxurious. This is real stone. It’s not laminex. Not that there’s anything wrong with laminex, but this is beautiful real stone. You can just imagine lots of friends or family, brekkie, dinner, lunch. Brilliant utility. Absolutely brilliant utility. If you are a chef or if you just love cooking. Gas, with an electric oven and we’ve got a built-in Smeg microwave. Wait until you see these drawers. This is a bit exciting.
That’s what you call soft close. Of course, when you’re doing all your little prep, your stainless steel and you are looking out into the garden and the swimming pool. I think the overall feel is just– It’s luxury. I mentioned it in the beginning, low-maintenance, which it is. You can see we’ve got tiled floors, we’ve got beautiful surfaces. We’ve even got brand-new air conditioning so that even on the hottest of days you can– Seven kilowatt– Bigger than a seven kilowatt which will cool this whole area. You can just relax, but I can guarantee that if you want to sit and relax, you’re going to go out there into the deck.
Let’s go and have a look at the deck and then we’ll have a look at the bedrooms.

I did mention that you would spend probably all of your time, well, not all of your time, but most of your relaxing time at the end of the day at hard work. You’ve come home. You’ve cooked a phenomenal dinner and you might even eat it out here or just use it as fabulous relaxation. It is completely covered. We’ve got beautiful wooden deck and we are overlooking at the garden. I don’t know if you can hear, we have got the sound off that gorgeous little waterfall in the swimming pool. Let’s just enjoy the ambiance, barbie. Don’t forget you could enjoy a barbeque as well. Have a quick look through here at the garden, and then we will go back in and have a look at those wonderful bedrooms.

Let’s come in to the sleepy wing of the house. This is one of the bedrooms and I just wanted to show you that there is actually plenty of storage space in this house. Beautiful slide-ins both sides, plenty of space. Again, tiled floors. We have really lovely bright light. This whole house is super-duper bright. We have laundry. Great laundry. It goes out into the garden. A little of bit orientation, that’s the window there that looks out from the kitchen. As you can see, lots and lots and lots of utility and bench space and separate toilet.
We have lovely long hallway. Again, we’ve got cupboards. Plenty of space there. Main bathroom. Let’s have a look in the main bathroom and then we’ll head into the main bedroom.

This is absolutely amazingly brilliant. This is the parents retreat that I was talking about at the beginning. Come on in. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful, it’s at the very end of the corridor, and you can see it is just luxurious. This is a huge king bed and there’s still plenty of space. We have got a retreat area that we’ll have a quick look at in a minute. Again, I just want to talk about the light. I want to talk about the fact that you bring the outside of the gardens into the bedroom, which is just beautiful in the morning. Again, we have air conditioning.
In the hottest of days you can close the door and you can get a really good night sleep. Before we go in here, let’s have a look at that walk-in robe. It is massive. Again, outside coming in, open shelving which is great for air so you get plenty of ventilation. Of course, we have got, again, I talked about the storage. There’s plenty and plenty of storage. These doors actually open and close if you want privacy. I don’t know why you would want privacy, but they are there if you do. Just a little bit of a spin around here. This room is absolutely glorious.
We’ve got a big mirror here, of course, which just helps reflect the light, but we’ve got plenty of space. Open side could be an extension of the swimming pool area. Again, you could put in a massive ensuite. You could have it as an office. You could just have it as a relaxation space, a genuine parents retreat, if you like. Just soak up the ambiance, and then we will go out and we will have a look at the swimming pool.

Wasn’t that amazing bedroom? We’re going to get out to the pool. I’m sorry but I’m bringing you through this absolutely beautiful kitchen again into, of course, as we’ve seen this rainforest backdrop. The gardens are lovely but the rainforest backdrop just gives it that unbelievable relaxation and resort feel and speaking of which and that was the kitchen window that we spoke about when we look out. We are actually are looking into the swimming pool area and again you can hear that waterfall. We have got the laundry door, hot water service everyone needs one of them and we have the bathroom window there.
Of course, we have got the dressing room and we have got that parents retreat at the end.
You can see that it’s you not a lap pool but it is deep it’s probably I don’t know maybe up to here on me and you really do just want to jump in. Of course, this is the perfect time of year we’ve got beautiful sparkly blue sky, we’ve got our umbrellas with a couple of other little garden sheds way up the back just for rakes and saws and little bits and pieces that we might want to use. You just imagine sitting on the hottest of days jumping in, cooling off family friends and there’s the sun. Life does just not get any better than this. Wasn’t that pool amazing? Of course, it’s all set in beautiful tropical gardens of which we’re about to go down and have a little look.
I mention that and I keep going on about the fact that it is low maintenance and you can see that we have– The temperature has dropped. You can hear the birds. You can even hear the waterfall from here. It’s like we’ve just come down into it an amazing little oasis. We have got colorful shrubs, we have got beautiful crotons, all these lovely topical, tropical plants. As I mentioned up there for the 300th time we have got a fabulous rainforest backdrop. We got beehive gingers.
Aren’t they absolutely unbelievably tropical and gorgeous? Those flowers last for ages. Up again through side of the garden, just have another quick look at our entertainment deck here so we’ve got a little bit of orientation.The actual house is block so it’s all been rendered. Again, the low maintenance. Brand new air conditioning unit as we’ve seen in the beginning in the living room. Rock walls, we have got the amazing rock walls everywhere which just gives the whole garden, I don’t know, a sense of organic-ness, it’s grounded and again low maintenance, easy to cut your grass again. Let’s go up and have a look at that shed.

I hope you’re looking at these rock walls and again little things like climbers that come through those little archways. We have another grassed area which again is easy to mow, easy to maintain. Then we just have this unbelievably massive shed big enough for four cars.
Let’s go in and have a look in here, how big would you like your shed. This is tall, it’s wide. When we came in at the beginning of the driveway we have got a set of double roller doors and we’ve got a single entrance door here. Then we have a double door there. Again, you could put four cars in here, you could have it as a workshop, you could put in a gym. If you run a little business from home you could have this section here that’s a little front office. I said big enough for four cars means that you can just use your imagination for whatever you want to use it for. This really is a brilliant, brilliant workspace.

I’ve just been looking at that gorgeous swimming pool again. This is really the ultimate package hopefully now you can see that when you come in the driveway, you see a little low maintenance, beautiful rendered brick house but when you actually come in and when you take the time to have a wander around the gardens and look at the swimming pool, have a look at the shed, you can actually see what a stunning, stunning property this is.
We’re just going to do a little baby recap. A kitchen, I don’t have to say anymore. It is just pantry, drawers, storage more storage, more storage, more storage and as I said at the beginning it’s actually less and about eighteen months old. This whole extension is absolutely council approved and is just a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful lifestyle addition to the whole living area. We’ve got air conditioning, out on nearly an acre 3100 square meters and we are at the very end of cul-de-sac very, very, very quiet no through road.
