Angela Martin: Hi. I’m Angela Martin and welcome to what is quite simply a stunning, absolutely stunning tropical lifestyle property. Now if you know Kuranda, we’re at number 46 Williamson Drive and it is dress circle. I mean fabulous location, we’ve got million-dollar homes all around us and we’re at the very far end of Williamson Drive, so it’s super-duper quiet. We’re on 1.8 acres.
The house, that does not do it any justice. We’re going to chop it up into little bits so that we get a real sense of how fantastic and big this property is. Now we’ve got four bedrooms, we’ve got three bathrooms, we’ve got a toilet, we’ve got a media room, then we’ve got a billiard room, then we’ve got a gym, then we’ve got a studio and then we’re going to work ed and we have got storage that is coming out our ears. Over the back we’ve got fantastic rainforest views. Let’s go in let’s have a look. You’re just going to absolutely fall in love with this quality master built home.

This is super duper impressive. We’ve just come in the front door and the house is actually on two levels and believe it or not we’ve got a bit 400 square meters. Yes, 400 square meters on each level. You do the math that’s a huge, huge area. Now we’re just going to do a little bit of orientation. I apologize in advance this is probably going to be an extended video, because there’s so much to take in. I can’t possibly tell you everything about this house, but it’s going to be enough for you to fall in love with it and then you can give me a call and of course I can answer any questions.
We’ve come in the front door and we’re in the main living area. Now behind us we’ve got the balcony. Off to this side, we’ve got two bedrooms with a communal ensuite, very large luxurious ensuite and we’ve got the media room just here. Behind us, we’ve got the kitchen but we’ll look at that in a minute. We’ve got the beautiful red door as a separate entrance area. Then off to this side, we have got the master wing with another little bedroom currently used as an office plus a toilet.
Let’s have a look at this kitchen, it is just to die for. If ever you wanted to have a commercial style but homely feel of a kitchen this is it. We’ve got beautiful sliding drawers, we have got fantastic stainless steel sink, we’ve got granite benches, we’ve got little touches like built-in microwave. The person who actually built this house in 2009 was a master builder and everything that you see and everything that you touch is just quality. Not just the build but all the fixtures and the fittings.
Let’s walk this way fantastic standalone stainless steel cooker. This is brilliant, this whole house has got cupboards galore and we have got a butler’s pantry like you wouldn’t believe. This here is a dumb waiter, so when you come in the garage doors underneath, you can put all your shopping or your heavy stuff actually into the lift and you press the button and now it comes and off you load, so how fantastic is that. Let’s go for a wander and we’ll start off with the media room and the two bedrooms around this site.

Let’s go through from this fantastic kitchen into this side of the property. Each of the sides of the house are actually mirror images of each other. As we go through here, first of all you’ll notice that a lot of the doors in this house are cavity doors saves on space. We come into this brilliant media room. You can just imagine closing the door putting your feet up on the little flippy chairs and just relaxing at the end of the day.
We have two bedrooms with a central bathroom and each bedroom again is a mirror image of each other and it has an office nook, so let’s come through. Everything is super-sized, beautiful bright colors, gorgeous high ceilings really gives you that sense of space and just airiness and freeness. We’ve got the office nook that we spoke about in here. If you’ve got kids or guests, fantastic computer nook. This bathroom, for a two-way bathroom it would put, I don’t know how many other bathrooms to shame.
We’ve got fantastic stone tiles, we’ve got beautiful vanity and then behind us we have just got a beautiful, beautiful shower. No glass, nice and free and again, we’ve got brilliant views out to the garden. This takes us through to the other spare room and our office nook again off to the side, it really is a brilliant space where you want privacy for people coming to visit and they really do have their own little bit of luxury.

We’re going to head over into the main master we know but on the way through, you’re probably not going to be able to see it with the light, but we will go out there in a minute. This is part of the big balcony area overlooking the the gardens. We’ve got a gazebo with a heated spa bath. I told you there was lots of gorgeous things there and then behind that, we’ve actually got a creek but let’s come through here.
Again, I go on about the quality of things but these little gorgeous design features really just add to the the luxury feel of any property and this one is just beautifully done. We didn’t come through the main door but this is, red my favourite colour. This is the main entrance we came in through there, the sliding doors. Great big cupboard there in the entrance hole. You can put all sorts of stuff in there. I mean it’s really big. Then this way, we have the main master wing down here we’ve got a toilet and we’ve got an office or a bedroom. Cupboards again, galore. Let’s go through to the master but have a look in here before we go.

Let’s come through into the master, this would have to be one of the most sumptuous feeling, resort style, hotel type rooms and one of the yummiest hotels in the whole wide world. It really does feel gorgeously luxurious. We’re standing on beautiful plush pile carpet. We’ve got vents as a nice architectural design element. We’re looking out on to our own little balcony and then out into the garden, but we talked about cupboard space and filling of luxury.
As we walk through here we’ve actually got a huge walk-in robe just going to the side that we’ll have a look at in a minute. This is all wall to wall cupboards but this takes us into the master ensuite. Now, if this just doesn’t get you waking up in the morning, I don’t know what will. We’ve got beautiful tiles again fantastic cosmopolitan vanity, beautiful art pieces, it’s light and it’s bright. Again, we’ve got no shower screens, you just have that lovely scene. I get up in the morning and wash my hair life is truly wonderful. Let’s go back into the living area, we’ll go downstairs and we’ll have a look.

We come in onto the main balcony which is northwest facing. It has got a beautiful aspect. Over here, which is just quite delightful is the gazebo with the heated spam and the other thing that you can see, we will go down there in a minute, the other thing you can see as well is that it’s completely dog fenced. Now, we’ve got fabulous sunny day today overlooking the rainforest, we’ve got a creek right then in the very back, but we’ve also got three KVA solar, so that we can take advantage of all this gorgeous sunshine that we’ve got. We’re going to head downstairs and we have got another treat for you about another 400 square meters of fantastic living lifestyle space.

We’re downstairs and already, you can feel the difference in the temperature. The house is completely insulated, including all the verandas. I did mention that it was a builder, it was a master builder built in 2009 and the whole property has been humongously over engineered. The ceiling here is actually concrete, which is the flooring from the upper level. We’ve got 400 square meters again on the roof on this level alone and is this just not the most amazing billiard table? I’m sure I may get into trouble for trying to play,.I’m sure I wouldn’t do me any good anyway but a little bit of orientation. This is a games room, rumpus room, got a jukebox here.
Off to the side, we’ve got a gym and then this way which we will go through in just a minute is the laundry and the garage, we’ve got unbelievably big storage. Again, we’ll walk through there. We have got a bar and if you’re into playing blackjack, you might want to have a look at that. Dealer must stand on 17 and must draw to 16, I don’t know what that means but if you are into counts, you probably do. Again, a fantastic area just for entertaining. We have a bathroom, we have another great big storage room and then let’s go through, this takes us into an art room. Again, you can pretty much do whatever you want with any of these rooms but they’ve been used so well.
We have a creative space. I just love everything about it. We’ve got colour, when you buy the house, the house will be repainted, not the whole house will be repainted, that silly Angela. This room will actually be repainted if you didn’t want to keep it as an art room. It’s just very creative. Then we come through here into which is actually a double garage or a double lock up garage. We’ve got the roller doors that takes us into the garden, but it has been used as a fabulous sensational work shed and for anyone who’s interested in doing any sort of repairs or woodwork or joinery, it’s just unbelievable. On top of that, we have guess what? More storage. Plenty of plenty of storage and we’ve also got top running water too.
This takes us back through into the billiard room which again is the ultimate man cave. We’re going to have a look next door and you hopefully are just getting a sense of how big and spacious this property actually is.

That aside is the creative side of the house, obviously the whole house could be creative that we have that work shed and the studio. Then we have the pumping iron side of the house, on the way via the jukebox. This again is a brilliant brilliant space. Now I’m not going to test my strength because I’m sure they would fall but this is a brilliant area if you want to work out. But again, you can use it for whatever you want to use it for.
Off this way is a big cupboard and we’ll come back through that way but this laundry, remember I mentioned upstairs about the dumbwaiter when you come out the car. We just put a stuff in here, we go upstairs, we press a button and all our shopping is or all the heavy stuff, whatever you want to take up into the kitchen, it’s all done for you. Look at all this workspace.
We’ve got sink, we’ve got fabulous bench tops, we’ve got tiled floors and it takes us out into this amazingly big bright spacious double garage. I mentioned at the beginning about the over-engineering and I don’t know if you can see this but remember, we’ve got a concrete floor which is a concrete ceiling completely insulated so it’s wonderfully cool concrete slab.
We have got a beam 5,800 kilograms, looks pretty big to me. We’re looking to the front front of the property here, this is where you would actually come in and park your cars and straight through into the laundry, so you can offload your bits but around this way, this was the other cupboard that takes us through into the billiard room. Cupboards are everywhere, here we go. Lots and lots and lots and lots of storage, beautiful bike, I’m sure that does not come with the property. It takes us back through into the games room.
Now, I really do hope that you’re getting a sense off the overall space and the size and the entertainment, feel and the luxury feel of this property but before we close, let’s go into the gardens and have a bit of a quick sneak peak.

Let’s head out into the garden and again, I know I sound like a gramophone record but that entertainment area is just unbelievable. We’ve got billiard table, we’ve got darts board, we’ve got– I will look at it back in a minute. Let’s come out into this brilliant brilliant spa area. A little gate down here takes us to a beautiful rainforest walk down into a seasonal Creek. This is, it’s not like the piece de resistance but it sort of is because it is ultimately special. Come on in and let’s have a look at this spa bath area. Now you can feel the difference in the temperature, we’ve been outside there 30 odd degrees, in the summer, in the beautiful tropical rainforest and you could just imagine jumping into that spa.
It is heated but I can tell you in this weather that you would seriously want it to be chilled with ice cubes absolutely it is just glorious. Entertainment, plus we’ve got a dining table where we can sit and have a beer, glass of wine at the end of the day we have got a barbie we’ve got running water of course we have power and it’s going to be very difficult for us to see today because of the difference in the light levels but the view to the house from here is absolutely stunning let’s have a look at that.

I really hope that you have totally enjoyed this extended tour I did mention at the beginning it would be a little bit longer but hopefully you can see why we needed to take the time to show you all the fantastic things about this property. We’re going to do a little bit of a recap but I will make it quick I promise. We’re looking into the kitchen living area, upstairs we’ve got a 400 square meters same downstairs. We’ve seen our four bedrooms, our three bathrooms, we’ve seen there’re extra little toilet, we’ve seen the fantastic games room downstairs.
The whole lavishness of the entertainment area, we’ve got another bathroom downstairs a lot of studio, we’ve got a work shed, we have got a three KVA solar, we’ve got our creek from one 1.8 acres dog fenced so if you do have any little doggies or pets it is ultimately safe and they’re not going anywhere.
