Angela: Hi. I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 43, Stoney Creek Road in Speewah. This property as you can see is it’s open, it’s light, it’s very bright and it has a gorgeous sense of airiness. But the most important thing is that it feels calm, it feels incredibly calm. You come through those at those gates at the bottom of the driveway, you walk all the way up, we’re close to the house here and your pressure just goes, “Ah, it feels beautiful.”
Now, because the five acres is completely fenced, if you have got children or you have got pets or you have got horses, it would be absolutely perfect. Let’s go into the house and have a look. You’re going to fall in love with this property.
[music]
Calm, calm, calm. I’ve mentioned that. We’re going to use that word again. When you come into the house, the colors are cool and calm. I’ll stop using that word but it really is a gorgeous feel. Now, a big difference between the temperature on the inside and the outside. The house is completely insulated. If we do a little bit of orientation, this part of the house, we’ve got the master bedroom, lovely, big walk-in robe and an ensuite. Here we’re in the heart of the house if you like.
Then, on the other end, we have got three bedrooms. We’ve got a bathroom, we have a toilet and we have the laundry. Then the backdoor goes out to that great, big shed that we’ll have a look at. But if you have a wander around, huge, huge, huge kitchen. Beautiful wooden doors, absolutely functional. We’ve got a gorgeous oven, gas cooking, great big pantry in the corner and plenty, plenty of prep space. This is great. I love it.
We’ve actually got power points here so you can chop away and do some prep whilst you’re either watching television or watching the kids play at the back or just while you’re chatting to friends or even listening to music on your own. It really is a brilliant space. Let’s go in. We’ll have a look at the bedrooms and then we head off to the master.
[music]
That would be what’s used as the spare bedroom. You’ll notice as you come into each of the rooms, we have got super high ceilings and fans. They all have plenty of cupboard space. We’ve got mirrors on the robes here, you can see that just on this little side. But isn’t this just a gorgeous room? You’ve got all that lovely, natural light. The whole house is about natural light and views out to the garden. Little children’s room, but how beautiful is this? We’ve got color from the plants outside, lovely, open mountain views on this side of the house. We’ll have a look at them when we go outside.
Two windows with gorgeous natural light and we have got built-ins, plenty of cupboard space. Oh, that is a big cupboard. I’m going to keep that for a secret but it’s about that deep with plenty of shelves on it. Then in here, we have got the main bathroom, which we’re going to have a little bit of a look. A great big cupboard where you can keep all of your towels and bits and pieces. Again, plenty, plenty, plenty of space. Have a quick look in there and then we’ll go to the laundry.
[music]
Then, we have the separate toilet and coming into a really bright laundry area. I love this space because it is open and you’re straight out to the back and a nice easy access out to the huge shed which we will go out to in a minute. But we’re going to head back to the master ensuite.
[music]
Don’t forget to look at that view. We’re going to head out there in just a little minute. But little attention to detail things. If you have a couple of stools here, you’ve got plenty of space to sit and have a cup of tea and just enjoy being in this gorgeous, bright, sunny spot. It does get chilly enough but they have a pot-bellied stove in the winter. It just adds a lot of character. It’s obviously been used, you can see from the flue. All the brickwork has been rendered.
You would have noticed that on the outside too. Along this side is the master end of the house. Calm. I’m going to stop using that. I said I was going to stop using it before and I’ve just used that again. It is a very soft, relaxing space. Again, we are looking out into really like parkland, flat, useable, green, lush. We’ve got mountain views lying in bed. It really does look sensational. Walk-in robe here. Plenty, plenty of space and a nice luxury ensuite.
Lovely, great, big double shower, vanity toilet, and louvered windows. The whole house has windows that are screened so you don’t have to worry about beasties and bugs especially at night time. Fans, and it’s quiet. Let’s head out into the garden and explore.
[music]
We go from the loveliness of the inside to just as peaceful on the outside. You can just feel the relaxation come over you. I mentioned that at the beginning but we have completely flat, usable land, five acres and it’s just surrounded by rainforest and by trees. You come out of the house and you’re just sitting on the back patio, you can even sit on the front patio. You have just this lovely tropical-like. What else is there in the world that you would rather be doing than sitting here today, enjoying what we have? Of course we have those magnificent views just there. You can have a look.
[music]
We’re coming out the laundry where we were at a couple of minutes ago. We have got lovely easy clean walking, completely paved up into the access door, the man door, lady door into the garage. But we’ve got of course three-bay shed and two double roller doors. Now, plenty of space in here, a shed is where people put all their stuff, so it is filled with stuff, but you can see that’s the door over there. Brilliant space for workshop and of course big enough to get a tinny or two or three cars. We are going to have a bit of a quick wander around this side of the garden because it is filled with gorgeous fruit trees.
[music]
There’s probably more than 20, 30 different fruit trees on this side of the land. I don’t know if we can see, but some of these mango trees, we’ll have a look behind us, have actually got to started to get blossom on it. It means that we are very soon going to get some little mangoes, but we have citrus, “Oh all look at this one here.” How gorgeous is that.” That’s a grind orchid, beautiful in amongst fruit trees, how fabulous. We’ve got citrus, we’ve got macadamia, we have peach, we have mango, we have lychee, some new ones that have just been planted and you can see how little they are when I go in and we’re clearly not going to get any fruit from these ones, but this I think it looks like a mangosteen persimmon tree.
They’re very, very delicious bits of fruit, black sapote, so we’ve just all the way from here, from the front, all the way up to this left hand side established fruit trees. You can pick your own, you make jam out of them really, really lovely. Now, children, we mentioned children before, we’ve got these swing just right from they’re really big tree. We’ve also got another swing area in amongst a little bit of rain forest. We’ll have a quick look, there’s a tiny little baby shed, just right at the front, and then we’ll do a wrap-up.
Beautiful shaded part of the garden and I think whether you’re an adult or a child, there is something unbelievably magical about being on a swing, it has got this unbelievable sense that you’ll remember I’ve been on a swing in this part of the garden forever sky, the trees, all the shapes, the birds, it really is just priceless, that is just priceless.
[music]
This is the other little shed. Now it’s about five meters by about four meters I guess, solid block and is currently being used for storage of wood. I reckon it would make a brilliant little studio. It has a cute window, forget all this stuff. You got to imagine that great little window, you’ve got light so you have power and with on a concrete slab. It could be colored, you could paint it pink, you could put whatever you want in there, but it’s a great addition to the property and of course, if you had horses, you keep hay in there.
[music]
I really hope you’ve enjoyed this film of number 43 Stoney Creek road in Speewah and hopefully, you will have a sense of what a beautiful lifestyle property this is, so there really are no words. Again, just to tell you how it feels to be here, we have elevation, open usable land, gorgeously sunny. The house, it’s just peaceful, we have all these lovely neutral colors and completely insulated and fly screened all throughout.
We’ve got a three-bay shed that is perfect for anything that you would want to do in a shed, and it’s fenced and we have five acres, so children or pets or dogs or horses, you could just imagine sitting on that gorgeous little balcony at the back or the front wandering around picking fruit from your fruit trees, playing on the swing when it gets a little bit hot and you just want gorgeous shade, it is the ultimate lifestyle property.
Of course, looking out from all the natural windows, we have the stunning views, you could just clip a couple of those little baby trees and you would have even more mountain views. It is just glorious, so give me a call, Angela Martin, 040378187 or visit the website, angelamartin.tv I look forward to meeting you in your new home.
