Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 32 Mahogany Avenue in Speewah. This lifestyle property will tick every single one of your boxes. We’ve got a beautiful, beautifully presented 4-bedroom 2-bathroom pole home. We have got a luxury resort style pool, brilliant big shed and of course, it is all on a humongously private five-acre piece of paradise. Let’s go in and have a look. You’re seriously going to fall in love with this property.

Come on in. Isn’t this just the most gorgeous feel of a pole home? Now, I’m going to do a little bit of orientation but I have to say when you come in here it is absolutely calm. We’ve got the sound of running water in the brilliant, brilliant waterfall in the swimming pool. We’ve got Cypress flooring, we have got iron bark posts, we have got cedar cladding and of course, we’ve got elevated ceilings. It just it just makes you want to sit down and relax. Anyway we’re going to do a little bit of orientation. Fabulous brilliant kitchen, gas cooker, stainless steel cooker. Magic for all the chefs in the family. Soft closed drawers, lovely organic bench top.
Again, we’ve got doors and windows that go out to the balcony. All brand new by the way. All the wooden timber doors and windows have been taken out and we have got brand new brilliant, sparkly low-maintenance louvers with screens. We’ve actually got two levels on this property. We’ve got downstairs which is the master wing, goes all the way down there and then upstairs we’ve got one of the bedrooms as a little mezzanine attic bedroom. It’s got brilliant cute little window in there really, really gorgeous like a little fairy princess area. Then round, here we have got two bedrooms with a bathroom in the middle.
As I said, I could go on about it forever, but it just feels absolutely gorgeous. Let’s go through there have a look, we’ll go upstairs and then we’ll head down to the master.

Come on up, have a look. We’ve got a beautiful winding staircase and again, glorious timber and stainless steel balustrading. Come on up.

Angela: Even though we’ve come up and we’ve got this cute and cozy room, beautiful blinds open up and you see the rainforest behind them but again just lets filtered light come in and relax. But there’s plenty of cupboard space, we’ve actually got sliding wardrobe doors here and big section at the back there. It goes all the way and you can hide all your little bits and your bobs. But it can also be an office nook.
Again your imagination can have it whatever you want it to be. Before we head down into the master wing, we came up, there’s actually two ways that you can get into the house. First one, when we stood out the front was that we can come up the front stairs, takes us onto that gorgeous balcony. But underneath too in the carport, there is an entrance into the master wing and also at this back corner under here an entrance into the laundry. Before we head down, I just want us to have another quick look at that gorgeous balcony, have a look over into the resort pool which we will have a look at in more detail and then we’ll head downstairs
[music]
You cannot smell this on the video but we have got an amazing frangipani tree just there and the smell, it’s a little bit breezy today, the smell is just absolutely gorgeous. Just adds to that tropical feel. We’ve got banana trees that probably difficult to see from down on ground level, but we have literally got fruit hanging off the bananas. You can see that is the most amazing lifestyle resort style of pool just waiting to jump in. Before we do though, let’s head downstairs and look at that master wing

I mentioned this was the second way that we could come in. We’ve come in, makes it easy, the car is under the carport and beautiful, screened doors that I spoke about in the beginning and fantastic brand new all safety glass, louvre windows. Behind us, we’ve just come down here from the main living area and this is the most amazing master den. We have got, again, just really soft light, but we do have views right under the rain forest from the bed. You could imagine sitting here, lovely brick wall. We’ve got a telly up there, we’ve got air conditioning.
You almost would not want to get out of bed, but we have to. Again, storage in here. We have got beautifully tiled flooring and it comes into this most amazing luxury en-suite. We’ve got a separate loo, bath, gorgeous vanity and I’d go on about this but hopefully you get a sense that it is a resort style property and house. Of course, we’ve got this beautiful, plenty of space shower. Again, just luxury. Through here, which you can have a look at in just half a minute, we’ll go into the laundry and it takes us back out into the carport. Just divine.

Full circle under the carport, beautiful big chunky beams, posts for the house. We’ve got a ubiquitous wheelie bin. Everyone needs it, even in the tropics. This is what I was talking about the bananas. They’re literally just falling off the plants. Child friendly, this whole property is just perfect for kids if you have them of course. We’ve got a cubby house, a tree house and you can see that they obviously played ball, soccer and jumping up and down on the trampoline.
So again, orientation here, when we came in we’ve got a big shed, new 12 by 6 shed there. Then the front of the property we’ve actually also got a huge, great, big enclosed area with an orchard. You could almost put llamas, not that you would, but you it’s a very very high fenced area. Probably about a good half acre and we access that from the front, but this is the bit we’ve all been waiting for. How amazing is this. Kids slide, again, in this swimming pool, we’ve got the waterfall, we’ve got banana trees. It’s been a little bit windy, so we’ve got leaves.
Lounge bed and this is just glorious, this is a Bali hut. You could just imagine sitting here looking at that, waving to your family, your friends up on the deck and just, again, just relaxing. The whole thing is just all about lifestyle and of course we’ve got a great big gazebo just as we came into the the pool area, just beautiful.
[music] One thing I did forget to mention was you may even hear little doggies in the background. That’s actually the owner’s of dogs just over there. I don’t think they like being in the little dog pen. Before we head down, have a look at the shed. We actually have a seasonal creek that runs through the property just at the back. There is gorgeous little rain forest tracks and little rain forest walks that are just beautiful.
This bench here has history. It’s from the Busselton Jetty in WA. It has been brought here many many years ago. You’ve actually still got mother-of-pearl inlay in the wood. It really is quite special. I don’t know if you could ever move it ever again. It looks like it is solid and robust. Let’s go in, have a look at the shed. We’ll head down and we’ll have a look at the little enclosed area before we close.
[music]
We’ve had absolutely gloriously dry weather over this last, probably, three or four months, which is really unusual in the wet tropics. You can see that we still have gorgeous rainforest trees all around us. Of course, lots of leaves because we have had hot weather and wind and breeze. Now, we’ve got a sealed driveway all the way from the front up to the house. Again, I mentioned that we have got this massive big shed, brand-new on concrete slab and nice easy access up into the area. Plenty of space for turning around. Just super-duper functional.
You get all your toys in there. You get all your cars in there. Again, nice and easy access through to the house. We’ll have a quick look here and then, we’re going to head back from the front.
[music]
We’ve just come through the electric gates again. We’ve kept them open but they are remote controlled. My goodness. Look at this for an amazing big tree back down at the front of the property. As promised, we have got a really huge enclosure which, I think, would have been an original chook pen or orchard. You can see just how high and robust the fence is. If you’ve got bigger animals, it works brilliantly. Here we go. Come on in. Nice and safe. You could even probably put children down here to play if you wanted to. A little picnic area. But it’s got a genuine chook house. Got a little garden shed.
We’ve got access to water and you can see the fruit trees have all been pruned or been chopped. I think we’ve got mango and lychee. That’s the little chook area, pristine, for those healthy yummy organic eggs. Isn’t this just another magical space?
[music]
