Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin. Welcome to Number 32 Mahogany Avenue in Speewah. It takes a really special property to stop you in the tracks. This is one of them. We have an absolutely amazing fully renovated pole home. There’s three bedrooms plus a studio, two bathrooms. We have five acres. We’ve got a creek. It’s private. It’s at the end of a no through road. We have a luxury pool area that would rival any resort in the whole wide world. I’m really excited about us having a look at that now, but we’re going to have to wait a little bit. I’m going to start off at the house. Let’s go up and have a look. You’re going to fall in love with it.

Welcome to this fantastic old home. As I mentioned, it is completely renovated. All you have to do is move in. A couple little bits of orientation, we have got a beautiful kitchen. We’ll look at that in just a minute. We’ve got a studio attic just upstairs. On this level, we’ve got bedroom one, bedroom two, and a bathroom in the centre with a lovely big walk-in shower. In pole homes, cupboards are normally an issue, but here we’ve got plenty of whole cupboards. We’ve got plenty of storage cupboards downstairs. We’ve got plenty of cupboards in the walk-in robes in each of the bedrooms. The master downstairs is just to die for. Let’s have a look at the kitchen.
For those who love cooking, we have a standalone cooker. It’s gas and electric. We’ve got fabulous little push-button cupboards. We’ve got a brand new Bosch dishwasher. It’s light and it’s bright and it’s airy. The construction, the cypress, we’ve got cypress floorboards which just look yum. We’ve got Cypress cladding. We’ve got ironbark for the posts and Oregon rafters. All the good hardwood timbers that beasties in the rainforest don’t like to eat. Let’s go and have a look at the bedrooms and the bathrooms, and then we’ll head upstairs for that gorgeous little studio.

This was the bathroom I was telling you about that has got plenty of storage. We’ve actually got sliding doors. We got a yummy corner shower. We just have this gorgeous– Again it’s a resort feel of a bathroom. It’s beautifully concealed for the bathroom, for a toilet, and just lovely glass shelves. It just adds to that yummy luxury pole home feel.

Let’s head up to this magical little space. You could use it for a studio. You could use it for little kids room. You could use it for an office. You could pretty much use it for whatever you like. It feels like a fairy princess castle. It is really special. You’re looking over into the port. Let’s come up and have a look. I mentioned about cupboard space. This is a classic example of where you’ve got, not built-in robes, but sort of are built-in robes because there is plenty of storage and hanging space. Behind the bed, we’ve got the apex where the roof goes down. Again, you’ve got plenty of space for whatever you want to put in there. Behind us, we’ve got magical views. Let’s just enjoy.

There’s another entrance that we can use to come down into the master. We’ve got the stairs that we went up in front of the house next to the pool and the car porch. There’s another door we can come directly into the master en-suite. How beautiful is this? We’ve got plenty of room for a huge bed. Again, we spoke about the built-in robes. I don’t want to go on about it, but pole homes tend not to have a lot cupboards. We’ve got air-conditioning upstairs. We’ve got air-conditioning. The house is always lovely and cool. The master en-suite, oh my god. Let’s go and have a look at that. You are just going to want to wash and shower 55,000 times a day. It’s magnificent.
Isn’t this special? We’ve got polished concrete floor which again just gives it a modern and contemporary feel. We’ve got a separate toilet there. Nice and discreet and private. We have got a beautiful vanity that is just different from the rest. It’s a combination of wood and it’s ceramic. We’ve got a fantastic big yummy bath that you could just fill with bubbles. This, let’s just have a look at this shower.
It’s just wonderful. Check out the tiles on the floor. I’m not going to go in there because I’ve got feet. It really does feel special. It is just like dripping in luxury, literally. Dripping in luxury. Just behind this as well, we’ve got the laundry area with fantastic Miele appliances. We’ll have a quick spin around. Here, have a look. Take it all in and we’re heading to the laundry.
[music]
This is an amazing laundry. We’ve just come in from the master en-suite. As you can see, everything is still neutral, beautiful, neutral-calm colors. I mentioned that we’ve got Miele appliances. The dryer and the washing machine come with the property. We’ve got under the sink cupboards. Plenty of bench space. This yummy– I just love the round sinks. Cupboards on this side as well. Linen, children’s towels, whatever you want, can actually be put under there too. This leads straight out into the carport. Let’s go outside. Were only seconds away from having a look at that yummy pool. Oops. Let me just push it.
[music]
Under the house, we’ve just come through the master and the laundry. When we went into the master before, we didn’t actually have a look how you get in. You can drive in the driveway under the carport, so when it rains, you’re not getting wet. We can also go into the house this way, up the stairs. We can go up the veranda stairs. Or we can put walking directly into the laundry. Very accessible. Little work area at the end with an extra utility sink and another cupboard. Let’s go down and have a look at this fantastic pool. I’m super excited. I know you’re just going to absolutely fall in love with it. Let’s go.

Frangipanis. Elephant ears. Tada. Isn’t this absolutely wonderful? We’ve got a children’s slide at one end. We’ve got the waterfall that has some shade. You can just imagine standing there, dripping in the hottest of days and it is hot today. This pool is anywhere between 180,000 and 200,000 liters. It gives you a bit of an idea as to how big it actually is. It’s just amazing. There are no words to describe how this feels and how this looks, but let’s have a look at this huge dining table that is under this area here.
As you can see, we’re completely shaded now and this is about five by seven approximately, and we have– A fabulous bit of history, the actual pool pump enclosure is under here, so is a really ingenious construction, if you like. The table top is from the old Busselton jetty, about 150 years old. Part of it was actually blown away and these pieces here were salvaged 10 years to dry out, so we have jarrah, solid, yummy timber history. I bet there’s nowhere else in the world where you could actually sit down, have your dinner, have your entertainment area overlooking that luxury pool with that amount a history. It is just absolutely stunning.

Kids love tree houses, and this one is a bit special. It’s actually even got a fireman’s pole. You could just imagine jumping up there, jumping out, run down. Too hot, into the pool, it’s just a fantastic family home. Or you could paint in there. It could also be a little retreat for meditation or for a studio. We’re going to have a quick walk down. Remember we said we’ve got five acres, so these beautiful rainforest walks and we have a creek that’s literally just a minute down there was with waterholes. We’ll have a look at that.
Then behind us, we’ve actually got a shed- a pad that’s been carved out for a three or to four bay shed. The power is actually there ready to connect. There’s plenty of space for all your toys if you wanted to build one. Then at the front of the property, which is actually at the end of a rainforest walk, we have what we call a chook mansion. It is a great big and fenced area, the biggest chook shed you’ll ever see in your whole life, but let’s do down to the creek and have a look.
[music]
When we came in the front, we could see that this whole enclosure was fully fenced, and it’s actually a high fence. The original owners used to have deer, can you believe that, deer. The fence is there to literally stop the deer coming out of the property. This is the amazing chook mansion. It’s concreted. We’ve got beautiful pavers and we have a little mini orchard in this area too. You could grow your veggies. You could people whatever you want. We access the rainforest walk down to the creek back to the house, back down through that way, it’s just a fabulous area.
I really hope you’ve enjoyed this fantastic tour of number 32 Mahogany Avenue in Speewah. We’re standing on fabulous lifestyle day, a fantastic, beautiful kitchen with all the yummy Bosch appliances and some Miele appliances downstairs, and of course, we are overlooking the stunning resort style pool. Let’s do a little bit of a recap. Five acres, we have a fantastic creek. You’ve seen that brilliant chook mansion. We’ve got 3KVA solar, so it’s about 16 or 18 panels. That really is going to help with the electricity bills. 180,000 to 200,000 litre pool, we’ve got all those beautiful timbers.
It is just ready to move in. There’s a fantastic master ensuite downstairs. Bananas hanging from the banana trees as we speak. It is just a stunning property. Give me a call Angela Martin, 0403 788 187 or visit the website angelamartin.com.au. You’re going to fall in love with this property
