Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin. Welcome to Number 2 Fairyland Road in Kuranda. Fairyland. What a magical name for your new home. It has humongous amounts of opportunity and potential both from lifestyle perspective, and also from an income producing perspective. Now, if you can imagine, three buildings in a U-shape, and a central lifestyle deck. A deck that is bigger than any other lifestyle deck that I can almost guarantee you would’ve seen.
The main living area in the middle of the U, down in the bottom, has two bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, new kitchen, and living area. To the right hand side, we’ve got the master wing which is huge, quite a big bedroom en suite and a nook. You can see as soon as you come in that this is a really light bright and airy house, but what I love is the fact that the wooden floors are completely organic. We’ve got another door that exits straight through to the master. We’ll go and have a look.

Wasn’t that just the best two-bedroom house with those magic balconies from the bedrooms. You can just imagine sitting there having a cup of tea in the morning. Completely private. The master, we’re just about to go in here. As I mentioned at the beginning, there is so much opportunity with this property. We could have a large family or we could actually have three individual units or houses that we could make available for rent.
The master has got the most fantastic big window. You could just imagine waking up in the morning and looking out into the rainforest. It already has a fabulous en suite. The little nook here, you could have it as an office nook or you could put in a little kitchen or a kitchenette. Again, just keeping those options open for the little standalone cottage bit. As you can see, the paving is, I think it’s slate. It’s probably local or from one of the quarries from Dimbulah or Chillagoe. It is just gorgeous brown earthy colours, blues, browns, and beiges. It just adds to that lovely cottage-y feel.
Again, we’ve got a magical door that we went through. We have a privacy screen too that’s actually made from passion fruit. We are on 1.1 beautiful tropical acres. Let’s go into the garden and have a good old run.

There is no tropical garden complete unless we have the option to either grow veggies or herbs. This is already set up for you. Just so that you know where we are in the garden, we’ve actually gone up there on the right hand side. That’s the main drive coming in. We walked all the way through to the right hand side, and we walked down the steps into those magical doors. We’ve come full circle round the U.
We’ve come throughout the back studio into this magical garden area. Now, as I said, it’s all set up. All you got to do is put in your soil, buy your little seedlings, and watch them grow. We’ve got bed netting here, so that when we get tomatoes, red cherries on them, they’re not going to get gobbled away from you. Again, this is just another fantastic lifestyle addition to this great 1.1 acres tropical of tropical gardens but look at that rainforest it is just stunning
