Angela: Welcome. How big would you like your living area house space lifestyle to be? This is impressive. Now, I’m going to close those doors. You hear little birds. Just so that you get a sense of when you’re home, you’re in your own little world. Private. You can still hear the little birds, but look at the size of this. This is magic. A little bit of orientation just so that you get a sense because when we talk about five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, sometimes it’s like, “Well, where’s the bits? The photographs don’t make sense.”
We can start with master. Master suite up there on the mezzanine. Doesn’t have to be the master, but it’s pretty special. We got mountain views up there. We’ve got the main master and bathroom. Clearly, our living area. Come this way. We’ve got a dining and a kitchen. Then behind us here, we have got like a little breakout area, rumpus, television area. Three bedrooms, that bedroom over there. We’ll have a look at all this, has got a bathroom and then with the entrance from the garage into the laundry. Again, with another bathroom and a separate toilet.
It just doesn’t get any bigger than this. As I said at the beginning, it could be extended family or it could just be that you love having space. Of course, if we look up here, it is super bright. All that natural light. Unbelievable. Where are we going to start? Going to meet you through there. I just cannot get all the flexibility. The light and the bright is probably going to be going up and down in the night because as I said, we got lots of natural light. We got all these louvers up there and you can actually see the top of palm trees.
This connects three bedrooms, one, two, three on the side of the house. Now, if we start over here, this has got its own bathroom. We chatted about people coming and visit and are staying and if you’ve rented that out there, then people could still have– your family, your friends could still actually have their own little spot. We can see mountain views. We can see out here. We can see more views. Look at this, look at this. This a bromeliad tree up and down there. Of course, that looks out on to the swimming pool. Pretty special.
The bathrooms, they’re really clean, they’re fresh. There’s no smelly moldy bits on it, so almost a bit like a resort. We’ve got this magic ceiling rose. Shouldn’t call it a rose because that one’s actually square, but you know what I mean. You stand in there and you just luxuriate. Toilet, and of course a bit of a luxury bath, big. Again, bright. We got fan up here and we’ve also got built-in robes, paint them whatever color you like. Then through here, as we connect, we’ve got a two of our bedrooms.
Room two, again, we’ve got our fans, we got a robe, and we’ve got a wooden louvers. Then this one here, almost identical. We’ve got our fans and a big, big room. This is probably, one, two, three, four meters by– probably four by four maybe. One, two, three, four and a bit. You really have that sense of space. Speaking of which, there’s more, but wait, there’s more. At the front of the house, we seen that there was two garages. One on that side and one on that side. This is the one that you would use if you were coming into this part of the house. It connects to what would be your laundry area, and then there’s another bathroom.
Come in here. Again, clean, tidy, fresh, modern, flushing toilet. Then there’s an extra loo in here. Plenty of space. This is all rendered block. Then we’ve got the garage, which is a big garage. I think there would possibly been a roller door there at some point. You could always put another roller door in, or you could join that over to your little deck that runs all the way along the back. Again, plenty of space. We’re going to head back out into that rumpus and we’re just going to breathe in all that natural light.
[music]
Angela: Seriously, how much space. It’s just ridiculous amounts of space. If you love open space, you’ll just love this room. It’s a inspirational room. These windows, love. You get all that natural light and you’ve got the size and scale of the trees coming in. I did deliberately, as I said, close to the beginning, closed those doors so that you can see that when you’re in here, you really are in a private oasis. Now, just take note of that little bit there. Could be a little interesting thing that we’ll come back to.
Again, as you would expect, big. This is a dining area. We got a rumpus or a telly area, and that’s just a big lounge area, and a big open plan spacious kitchen. Again, just to give you a little bit of a sense of dimension. What do we got here? We got one, two, three, four and a bit. Then it’s just a big kitchen. Main central island bench, space there for a dishwasher, stainless steel sink, electric cook top, and we have got those views again out too.
When I call it a bromeliad tree, it’s actually a palm tree that has got little bromeliads over the years of growing and growing, and growing, and it really is quite spectacular. You can see out into the swimming pool. What’s not to love? Now, we are going to go back out the front before we have a look at the back, and we’re going to have a quick explore of that self-contained apartment. Or maybe actually just have a bit of a sneak peek at that back balcony. Before we go to the apartment, I forgot, we’ve got another massive big bedroom and bathroom to have a look at.
Oh, my goodness. The house is big, big, big, big, big. Just a little bit of sneak peek just across here and down in here. This is where I mentioned that you could actually extend the balcony, but we’ll come back and have a chat about that. That’s another little secret door that would join that will make sense when we go around and look at the apartment. Oh, my goodness. It’s becoming confusing. Let’s go upstairs and have a look at that master.
[music]
Angela: I just love having this little mezzanine loft, fairy princess-type areas. Now, just because its got a bathroom and room for bedroom, again, remember, they’re just rooms, so you can use them for whatever you would like. If you were lying in bed and you were looking at your windows, you’re going to be looking at the tops of trees, greenery and sky. Absolutely beautiful. Feel that breeze.
Now, we’ve got another bathroom. This is a big bathroom. Again, clean toilet, clean vanity, and plenty, and I mean plenty of space. These are high ceilings. Just pop your little head up there and have a look. That’s a high ceiling. I can’t even– If you have to change the shower out, you might have to get somebody else who’s a bit taller than perhaps me to actually change it for you. Again, we’re in here and you have just got all– It’s just gorgeous. All that natural light and you just feel like you are in your own little world. Now, I promise we’re going to head back downstairs and have a look at that self-contained apartment right next door that could be income.
[music]
Angela: Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. We can see up in there, again, as we come in, just how fabulous– Oh, I’m going on about it because it’s big and it’s bright and it’s open and it’s airy. Yes, Angela, you’ve said that 300 times, but it is. You can see how bright and sunny and sparkly this is. Self-contained apartment. It’s got its own entrance. It’s got its own garage, so driving there without any problem. We had a little pan of that at the beginning. Currently got someone here, but the whole property will be vacant possession. It’s easy for you just to buy it, move straight in, easy as you’d like. This is absolutely marvellous.
Look at the size of this. Now, when you look at little granny flats or apartments or little separate areas to the house, normally, they’re like that big. They’re tiny, they’re postage stamp. It’s an apartment. I’m not calling it granny flat because it feels like an apartment. Again, we’ve got brick walls. We’ve got a full kitchen, and I mean full kitchen. Westinghouse, a little electric cook top, oven, plenty of space, plenty of space. Again, lots of natural light in here. To make it feel even more spacious and normal, for want of a better word, the bedroom is a separate bedroom so it’s not part of the lounge, and another bathroom.
Again, plenty big. We’ve still got our stainless steel fans. We’ve got our robes and we’ve got a beautiful sparkling mirror just here that we can just marvel at when we get up in the morning. This is a big bathroom. Let’s just have another look in here. The ceilings are huge. Toilet just there, nice clean vanity. You can just pop your little head around when you go in. This is just magic. Now, the back balcony here, when we came out the living and kitchen, dining area, we’ve seen a little door.
That just blocks off or can open so that you’ve actually got complete access all the way along or, like I mentioned a billion times now, if this is rented out or Airbnb, just think of all those extra dollars as a fabulous potential, this is self-contained. You’ve got your own little spot. You’re overlooking the pool. You’ve got your mountain views, you’ve got your banana views. Again, you can’t hear anything. It’s quiet. Absolutely quiet, and it is completely private. Just perfect plus. We’re going to head back at the front, into the living area, and then we’re going to head down, have a quick look at the pool.
[music]
Angela: Before we got out and change your mind again, I just wanted to give you a quick look. People put stuff in the garage. That’s what people do, but it is massive. I reckon, this is probably, I don’t know, maybe 10 meters long, I’m guessing, but you can get a really big car in here and you get a lot of stuff. Again, if you were renting it or Airbnb, this could also be an extra space, an extra room. It could be an art space, it could be a pottery studio it could be, again, whatever you want it to be, but it’s fabulous. We are going to head back out and I’m going to walk us all the way back around and we’ll have a quick look at that pool. I do promise this time.
[music]
Angela: How brilliant was that? Just as a reminder, that’s a little door there that connects the two little bits. Is that a word? Yes, of course, it is. Bits. Balcony overlooks the pool. We’re on about a quarter acre, 1,200 square meters. Down the back, there’s little areas where overgrown veggie areas, veggie patches, bananas, we’ve got some fruit trees. All there to add your own little personal stamp back onto the garden. Hottest of days, just absolutely magic. Concrete pool. Of course, this could be extended out into the garden if you wanted it to. We mentioned about the back garage and being able to put the little balcony there. Not that you’d need it.
Let’s head down here and have a little look. That’s the bromeliad tree. Enjoy looking at that because that is pretty special. That’s big. That’s really, really big. Wow. That’s bright. Bright, bright. We’ll have a quick look inside the pool and then I’m going to show you under the house and little nooks and crannies, so that if you are interested and you want to see everything, well, that’s what we will do. We will show you everything. That’s a space up there.
Again, with a little high set on this side, so storage, storage, storage, gardens galore, garages galore.. The thing, just when I’m standing here luxuriating in the sun, that with a house this size and the roof space that size, we actually have solar power as well as mains water and of course, mains electricity. It’s about approximately 11.2 kilowatts. Massive as you would expect. Now, this is brilliant because– Oh, look at that. Oh, that’s nice. What size of pool is that? It’s a good-sized pool. You could certainly go for a little swim in there, and of course, your little steps there that you could just sit, again, on the hottest of days.
We are in the glorious wet tropics of Far North Queensland and it’s getting hot. It really is just starting to count. If you’re in the chilly states and you want some lovely, warm, beautiful tropical sunshine, now’s the time to move. We’re not going to go wandering all the way through here, but it just gives you a bit of a sense of that could all be veggies. It could all just be gorgeous garden. We’ve got fruit trees. I think a lychee tree. We’ve got little bits of Malabar spinach. Oh, that’s a lime tree. This stuff, absolutely, absolutely brilliant. Malabar spinach is what it’s called. You can Google that. Bananas just up here. Again, bananas, you can just grow anywhere.
Throw in a little bit of a banana plant and you will have eight billion bananas. That’s the area up the back which was the back of the garage as we’ve seen that was closed in, so that could be opened up easily. Then we have plenty, and I mean plenty of space under the house. At the moment, it’s used for storage. You want to see it? Let’s have a look. Pavers there just waiting to be laid. We can see that we can easily walk up and down here. If you’re thinking about even outdoor entertaining, this could all be decked right out to the pool. You could take that and, of course, you’ve got then shade from upstairs on the balcony.
Then little other propagation delights. This was the garage up the apartment side, concrete. Again, you can use it for whatever you would want to use it for. Plenty of space and of course, it is all fully fenced and that is where the little pool pump goes. We’re going to head back up, do a quick wrap up.
That’s an impressive walk. I really hope you’ve enjoyed this little baby short film or fan number 13 Kullaroo Close in Kuranda, and unbelievably gotten the sense of the size and the scale and the phenomenal value for money that this lifestyle property actually offers.
Why would you buy it? Well, I think it is absolutely unbelievably obvious. We’ve got a five bedrooms and of course a four and a half bathrooms of which we’ve got four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms on this side. Then on the self-contained apartment, we’ve got, of course, another bedroom and another bathroom. I did mention when we went through and I said, “Let’s take note of what that little entrance bit is there.” Behind the food cupboard in the apartment there is actually a door. If you wanted it to be part of the house and not go out the front and not go at the back, you just use the door. At the moment, it’s there and it’s private and it’s beautiful and separate.
Fabulous walk to Kuranda Village. We’ve got our two garages, we’re on a quarter acre we have got swimming pool. We have got our mezzanine up there that’s just brilliant, fully fenced, 11.2 kilowatt. It’s just brilliant. Give me a call, Angela Martin, 0403-788-187, or visit the website, andrewmartin.tv. This is serious, serious buying. Just move straight in and you will just love being here.
