Angela: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 11 Fallon Road in Kuranda. This property is immaculate. It’s in a fantastic location and it is big enough for the whole family. Come on in, have a look. You are seriously going to fall in love with this beautiful, organic pole home.

Welcome into this super-sized family home. One of the first things that you’ll notice is the fact that we’ve got amazing polished floorboards. They go all the way through the top level. Just a little bit of orientation, upstairs we have got four bedrooms or three bedrooms and an office. We’ve got the office or the bedroom just behind you. We got a bathroom. Here we have got the master ensuite with a walk-in-robe and another two bedrooms here. Of course, balcony living area is out there, which is just absolutely beautiful part of the world to sit, have a cup of tea but we’ll have a look at that in a minute.
Then downstairs we have got– Imagine same size of the house again, workshop area. We’ve got a bathroom, we’ve got a laundry. Over this side, we have got a fantastic, great big rumpus or second living area. Let’s have a look at the kitchen. Everybody knows my fascination and love of kitchens. Now, I mentioned organic. The original builder was a chap by the name of Kim Prentice. Things like Blackbutt, walnut bench top. They all came originally from the property. You can just imagine enjoying cooking and preparing. It really is a fantastic entertainer’s, great big dining table straight out onto the back there.
This thing here, it’s one of the little things that we have got 900 wide benchtops. Again, plenty of space for chopping, cooking, dishwasher and an absolute cooking machine. This really is a brilliant area. Have a look at the bedrooms, have a look at the bathrooms and then we’ll head outside.

The master is gorgeous, big enough for a really big bed. We’ve got gorgeous louvers so you get that ventilation coming through. Luxury bathroom ensuite and of course a walk-in-robe, to die for. Go have a look.

I did say that this is probably one of the most beautiful parts of the property. It’s not one of the most beautiful parts, it is just a beautiful part. Now, we’ve got our French doors that open all the way out. These windows actually slide all the way open and all the way closed so you can get as much breeze or as much sun as you want. Of course, you can keep the rain out or you can let the rain in, I don’t think that you would do that. This is a glorious relaxation space. I probably shouldn’t sit here because I might not do anything else for the rest of today. We mentioned about the organic art features in this property.
In this section over here is actually just an example. This used to be an old cow pusher from one of the original Kuranda trains. It just is a fabulous decoration for the serving hatch that comes out from the kitchen, big 900 benches out into a fabulous entertainment area. Let’s go downstairs and have a look at the rumpus.

You are going to absolutely fall in love with this place under the house. Now, we mentioned about the overall size. You can see that you can come in from the outside, from the garden. We can come downstairs from the balcony. This is all concreted and actually used to be if you have a look here on these beautiful spotted gum posts, this used to be a great big workbench for the original builder. As I said, Kim Prentice was his name. He was the original creator of the house and was responsible for a lot of the artwork. This would have just been a regular workbench.
We got plenty of natural light, in and out. We can again slide open the doors but this is brilliant. Come on in, rumpus area extraordinaire. It’s air-conditioned. It has an inverter so you can actually heat as well as cool. Again, think of the Airbnb, think of kids, think of retreat, think of families coming to visit. You’ve actually got a bathroom and a laundry and a toilet just over there. We’ll have a look at that in a minute. Again, I’m in love with these poles. They are so organic and they just add a beautiful feel to the whole of this rumpus area.
The kids are seriously going to fall in love with these bunk beds. Only the split so nobody’s going to bang their head. It could be anything you want it to be but it is a brilliant feel of a space.

How fabulous is that rumpus area? Of course, this area down here that’s got concrete on it, you could tile it, you could keep it as your work shed or you could make it an even bigger rumpus area. Remember we’ve got doors that open out so they can be configured whichever way you want them to be. We got a brilliant storage area. Here we’ve got standalone toilet and hand basin and a laundry. Again goes out into the garden but just check around the corner there’s the most amazing organic shower with galvanized iron and mosaic tiles. It’s brilliant. Go on and have a look.

This really is a gorgeous garden. Now I didn’t mention way back at the beginning that it is actually fully fenced and we have got two gate access. So, you can get boats or trailers or anything into this big back section if you want to but here we get a much better look at the house. That’s a beautiful big balcony up the back and that’s the whole rumpus area underneath and of course, we’ve got storage under the house. We’ve also got storage under the house just at the gate just if you come in there on the left-hand side and up there are the bathrooms. So, you can see we’ve got a beautiful beautiful blue sparkly day to day. The grass is green and life just does not get much better than this on our 4400 just over an acre block of land. The gardens are just beautiful.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this tour at number 11 Fallon road in Kuranda and again I apologize I’m sitting down that’s twice in this whole video. It just draws you down into relaxation mode. Country style magazine, this is the epitome of this property. It just oozes country flair. It oozes just– I just want to be here. I just want to come home at the end of the day and relax so again bear with me we’ll do a real quick recap.
