Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 104 Veivers Drive in Speewah. We have a beautiful warm summer tropical day today and you’re just going to fall in love with this property because it is a bit different and is a bit special. Why is it different and special? There’s two reasons, one is that we have got flat usable land, 2.4 gorgeous acres. It’s fenced and that really is a rarity. The second reason is that we’ve got two houses. We’ve got the main house and then we’ve got a second house, so ideal for the extended family. The main house has got three bedrooms and three living areas and the second house is actually set up as one bedroom at the moment. We can actually have it into two bedrooms quite easily, but we’ll have a look at that as we go through. Let’s start off with the main area, you are going to love this property.

Beautiful dinning set. We’re just about to go into the house. We have actually got two entrances almost like every property in the whole of this area. We’ve got two ways to get into the house. The first one, the main entrance is just off the little front balcony and that takes us into the living room, but this is where the family and everyone else will enter the house. This is where I’d like us to go, beautiful balcony and we’re just going to head into the house via the kitchen.

One of the first things that you’ll notice is, apart from the gorgeous kitchen, is the high ceilings and that really does give a sense of space and light and the rooms is really big and really airy. This kitchen is pretty new. We’ve got all the fan-dangle sliding drawers, opening cupboards or beautiful soft close. We’ve got an electric cooktop, bench tops galore and of course, we’ve got a microwave oven, a pantry and a nice stainless steel Bosch oven. Have a look at the kitchen and then we’ll go through into the three main living areas.

Wasn’t’ that a beautiful kitchen? Billiard table, absolutely glorious. This is one of the three living areas. Behind us, we’ve actually got the three bedrooms, the bathroom and a living area or a media room or an office area, whatever you want to call it. This is the games room and I just love all these gorgeous colors and textures and you can imagine friends and family coming around, plenty of space, plenty of bright lights to have a fantastic game of billiards. This is the other living area.
This is where family would, at the moment, spend the time watching telly, but again, you get that sense of great light and airy beautiful neutral colors. We can see out into the front of the garden that way. The main entrance, the official main entrance is actually through here, which is quite a big entrance area, actually, and it’s fully tiled. Then off to this side as you come in, there is a toilet, separate, standalone toilet that your family, your friends or your guests can use. Have a bit of a quick look and then we’ll head to the back wing which is of the bedrooms and the other family space.

Come on through into this other separate part of the house. I know that you can’t feel on the camera, but the house is really cool. It’s a really hot day out there today and, as I said, with the high ceilings and the brick, it really does make such a difference to the temperature. This is the other living area. It could be a kids retreat and I just love the fact that we’ve got some really artistic coverings. These are cupboards, so again, we’ve still got plenty of storage. More storage in here. Then we’ve got the main bathroom and then we’ve got one, two, three bedrooms.
Quickly, let’s have a look at the bathroom before we shoot along there. The bathroom is an oversized bathroom, it’s original condition, but it is really really big. We’ve got a really huge walk-in shower, we’ve got a bath, we’ve got a discrete separate toilet and we’ve got a really lovely vanity and, again, plenty of bright light. Plenty of bright light to put your makeup on, wash your hair and just feel marvellous.

You’ve seen the great big shed at the other end of the the media room, the kids media room. It’s, I think, a single locked up garage size, so it is huge. You can put all your bits in there. We are in the billiard room. This is how we get to the other second dwelling. Again, you’ll have noticed that we’ve got concrete verandas, we came in. We’ve got the concrete veranda at the back, we’ve got a concrete veranda at the front entrance.
We’ve got another concrete veranda here, and whilst we’re talking about concrete, we’ve got a fabulous concrete driveway, again, unheard of. This courtyard is fully fenced. The whole property, as I mentioned at the beginning, is fully fenced. You could put a swimming pool, you could put plants, you could put a big shade cloth on. We’ve actually got a brand new sail cloth just as we come in at the front, but we’ll look at that as we go out. The imagination just runs wild when you get to this area here. Let’s go and have a look at the second dwelling.

The second house is, as I mentioned, set up as one bedroom, but as you can see, when you come in from the courtyard, we have this really big rumpus area. These cupboards here, well, you could probably take the cupboards out and you could make this into a second bedroom. This is the main living area. Telly room, dinette and kitchen. Then off to the right-hand side here, we have a really big bedroom, go and have a sticky beak.

Fully functional, yummy space. We’ve got plenty of cupboards, a standalone gas cooker, I love gas cooking, but come through this way. We have, again, plenty, plenty of space. This has been set up like a little baby butler’s pantry and we’ve got all the coffee, tea-making, toast making facilities in here, again, with another pantry. Then we have got a brand new shower room which leads out into the garden.

We’ve just come, again, this is the main entrance into the rumpus area and we do have a workshop work shed, again, huge storage if you want it to be, through this way. It would have originally been the garage because we’ve got sliding doors- roller doors up and down this side, we’ve got rolling doors up and down this side. As you can see, it’s a really fantastic work space. We open this up, and again, we we’re right into concrete paved driveway, so we’re not going to have any problems with the water. Let’s do a quick walk around the garden and just enjoy the magnificent big trees and beautiful sunshine.

We’re at the back of the property, back of the house, and again, we’ve got the view of the shed and we have got really well-established fruit trees. That is a mango tree, it is a very old mango tree because it is huge, and then off to the side as well looks like a big lychee tree. You will have actually seen, we’ve got taps everywhere so you have no problems with irrigation, and of course, remember, it’s flat, it’s usable, and it’s fenced.

We’ve got two houses on 2.4 absolutely flat usable acres of land, and I did mention at the beginning that in this part of the world, that is such a rarity. The fact that we’ve got full irrigation, we’ve got full concrete, and we’ve got fully fence just adds to that uniqueness. The two houses, how fabulous. Double brick, so again, we have the insulation, we don’t have all that top weather coming into the inside.
We’ve got brilliant brand-new, pretty new kitchen, a funky little dining area with all those gorgeous colors on the walls. Three living areas and, of course, of three bedrooms and that oversized bathroom, and then we’ve got a second house which, as we said, it set up, so one bedroom, but could easily be two bedrooms. Of course, we’ve got that storage work shed area at the back, and we’ve got a single lock up garage which is the garden shed. The courtyard, oh my goodness, what you could do with that courtyard area. Again, it’s fully fenced, so if you’ve got little baby dogs or little baby animals or little babies, they could be in there very, very safely.
