Angela Martin: Hi. I’m Angela Martin. Welcome to number 10 Fallon Road in Kuranda. This property is absolutely immaculate. It is absolutely, absolutely, absolutely immaculate. We’re on just under an acre of beautiful rain-forest tropical gardens. We’ve got four bedrooms, with two and a half bathrooms and it is only eight years young. If you’re after lifestyle and convenience for the location, you are going to fall in love with this property. Let’s go and have a look.

One of the first things that you’ll notice is you come into the house is that we are on a really gorgeous balcony. All weatherproof, we’ve got drop-down blinds, comfy daybed, which is just exactly what you need for those afternoon breezes. This is actually one of three balconies. Split-level, the main living is on the top level here and then downstairs we have a self-contained bedroom with a bathroom let’s go in and have a look and we’ll do a little bit of orientation on the inside.

You see that the living space is actually really, really big and it’s really open. Of course, we’re coming from that front back into main living area. Gorgeous kitchen which we’ll have a little look at in a minute. A two screen sliding doors actually go on to our main back balcony. Again just a little bit of orientation, we’re in the kitchen, we’ve got three bedrooms through here one of these actually being used as an office.
The master is up that side and it’s got a brilliant ensuite in a walk-in robe, plenty of cupboard space in the hall and then we’ve got another entrance from the shade that comes into the back section of the house. That’s for the other bathroom and toilet are. But, kitchens, we know that we love the kitchen. Now, this is stainless steel, we’ve got gas cooking and electric oven. You’ve got all the flexibility that you need for just creating all those yummy, lovely dishes while your family and friends are outside looking at the rain forest, but I did mention at the beginning that the place is absolutely immaculate. It feels like brand-new. Let’s go and have a look at the rest of the house.

Come on through. This is another little living area nook, where we’ve got some dining table again goes out onto the balcony we’ll have a look at that a minute and don’t forget that downstairs, spiral staircase brilliant with the extra room and that and bathroom downstairs. The master is gorgeous and clean, it’s bright, you can get views like to the rain forest and as you can see it’s actually big enough for a king bed. Still with plenty of space but this is brilliant. Come on through here.
We have got walk and roll, really, lovely ensuite but we have telly can you believe right there, could enjoy a glass of wine, bubble bath, read in the newspaper, reading a book whatever you want to do but just when it’s your favorite time of day, you can pop the telly on and just relax. It really doesn’t get any more luxurious than that.

Extra cupboard space as I mentioned at the beginning. The other door comes in from the big huge hood shed which we will have a look at but this is a really wonderful layout. We’ve got a separate vanity and we’ve got a toilet and a shower. This is the bedroom that’s been used as an office and again you have got beautiful views out to the garden. Let’s go in and have a look at that really lovely, yummy bedroom.

This is balcony number two. We had the front one that we entered into from the road end, but this is supremely private. I don’t know if you can hear we’ve got the birds and we’ve the cicadas and I’m sure you could probably hear butterfly wings too. This raindrop, raindrop– it’s not a raindrop. It’s a rain forest. The backdrop is absolutely beautiful. Low-maintenance, we’ve got a creek down in the back. It is fully fenced and we’ve also got three KVA solar on the roof.
Again, the energy bills for this property are going to be minimal. It actually has a seven to eight energy rating. You really are buying low maintenance and fabulous energy consumption. Lifestyle plus, brilliant back deck, goes into the kitchen, goes into the living area, goes into the dining area and we have got if we just look down here the most amazing circular steps, which takes us down in to the other self-contained bedroom and bathroom.

These stairs are absolutely super cute. Now, I mentioned that we had three decks if you like but we’ve actually got four living spaces. We’ve got the one up the front, we’ve got the one overlooking the rain forest at the back living area and then we’ve actually got this magic little cool undercover spot, which is under the house and you can get to it down through our lovely good little wooden pathway down the side of the house.
Then we’ve got this other deck which has its own little private oasis, four-bedroom could be a granny flat, it could be an artist’s studio, can be again whatever you want it to be but it really is cute. When we come in we’ve got enough space for a bed but it could even be a reception area if you wanted to for example run your business from home because out the side here, we’ve actually got big shed and the main gate takes us down the side of the house and we could come into this area here.
Again, whatever you want it to be. Lovely little bathroom. This is really magical, I love all these new fan-dangled little luxury items. We did say that the house was fully screened and that’s great. More importantly, it leads us again into fabulous rain forest tropical oasis. It really is magical and we have got the creek just down at the end of the garden.

I just love everything about this rain forest property. We’ve got stones, we’ve got wood, we’ve got a super duper low-maintenance house and we’ve got these magical little walkways that take us down, little steps go down here again into a really low maintenance backyard. Now, up the front, we’ve got heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of fruit trees and banana trees. We’ll have a quick look there then we’re going to have a look at the man shed.

Some beautiful Brazilian cloak bush, I think that’s what it’s called. I might be wrong but it has the most amazing, gorgeous pink flowers with these really beautiful, little, white, fluffy bits that come off it but the tropical part of this garden really is tropical rain forest is just stunning. As I mentioned we’re going to have a walk up here, we have got lots and lots of fruit trees and I’ve been promised you a banana tree.
[music]
Look at how healthy this fruit tree is, it is absolutely just laden, gorgeous with fruit and of course we’ve got this whole veggie area, ready for you just to put in whatever you fancy. We’ve got some garlic chives, beautiful. We’ve got some parsley already in there looks like we’ve got some chilli, we’ve got some basil and that looks like turmeric, you can plant whatever you fancy. It’s all here ready and waiting for you.
[music]
As you can see we have got plenty of space for all are lovely organics. Now just before we pop into the shed we came in the main entrance this way before, there’s also a little exit gate or an entrance gate there for your trailer so you can back things in mulch, stones, whatever you want but great little handy feature. We’ve got the gate here but then the side of the house, we’ve actually got an entrance that’s undercover into the main area and we’ve got another gate just at the at the back.
Sounds like there’s a lot of gates. Now this shed is huge. It’s 9×9 on the inside and we’ve got about a three and a half meter awning this way and we have about a 6×3 awning on this side. You can get your boat, you can get all sorts of stuff, gardening bits and pieces. There are seriously is enough space to put in whatever you want. The other great thing too is that we’ve actually got a laundry in here.
It’s stainless steel, we’ve got concrete floor. Again, you’ve got all your things that don’t necessarily fit into a beautiful house like laundry baskets, we’ve got here it’s a perfect setup and we’ve got an entrance door or an exit door just at the other end. Again, takes us out into a big stone area where you can easily hang up your washing this is just fabulous.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this wonderful tour of number 10 Fallon Road in Kuranda. It is hopefully giving you a real feel of tropical oasis with a beautiful rain forest backdrop. If you can bear with me and I’ll do a little bit of a recap. We’re on just under an acre, we have got a supreme low maintenance beautifully presented four bedroom two and a half bathroom home. The balconies, number one, the one downstairs private number two, and then we’ve got that fabulous one at the back number three and of course underneath two just as you go around the back is that other extra living space.
The property is great, the location is fabulous. You can also walk into Kuranda village if you want to and of course we have got this amazing man shade, 9×9 with all the little add-ons and the awnings. We’ve got three KVA solar and we have got a beautiful, beautiful creek. What more could you want? Give me a call Angela Martin, 0403-788-187.
