How high are those ceilings? I’m not a very big person but imagine trying to get up there and clean your fans. They are super high. Of course, we’ve got really huge industrial-style fans. Fabulous airflow. Now, when we come through the carport, we will go back out there, but that’s about nine meters long or wide. Then on the other side, there’s about another three meters added with a little separate carport. You’ve got enough for four cars without even blinking an eye at the front of the property. Now, elephant in the room, shall we go and look at that view or shall we start with an orientation? Probably, because the house is so big. Central, fabulous lifestyle kitchen. The house is split into two living wings, if you like. We’ve got down this side, three bedrooms, a bathroom on the lower floor, or two bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower floor, a media room and a rumpus room or a pool room, snooker room.

That view is absolutely spectacular. We will go out there when we walk around the house and in the gardens. If we start at this side of the house, we have a– come on in here. We’ve got a separate toilet. Fabulous for just the middle of the house, you don’t have to go into the bathrooms. Then we’ve got this pool room. This is big. Again, if you have a look up here, we’ve got the big-style industrial fans. We have got fabulous, fabulous lighting. I just love everything about those lights. They just add to the ambiance, if you like, of the room. It’s spacious. You can see, not that I’m going to do it, but there is plenty of room in here. A cupboard just behind us. I won’t go up into people’s cupboard doors, but it’s a really big cupboard in here.
Hope you closed your eyes when you had a look in there. This is another rumpus area. Big, absolutely big. We’ve come from the main central living, kitchen, fireplace with the stunning views into this pool area, rumpus room, could be a reading room, could be an office if you work from home. We’ve got two bedrooms either side and one upstairs. Remember, they’re just rooms, so you can use them for whatever you want. Each of the rooms, they have views out to the garden, so they are bright. If you come in here, we can see all the way along the balcony. We can see, hopefully, I know that we’re going to change the light a little bit, it’s bright today, mountain views. We said work from home there, you could work from home here as a little office.
Bright, relaxing, why wouldn’t you want to? Remember, we’ve always got several entrances when we come into lifestyle properties. This was the top of the driveway, all concreted driveway, by the way, comes in Williamson Drive as we’ve seen, and it comes up to the top of the hill where the house is. We’ve got doors that open and close, so you can access there, but it makes sense if you’ve got that big carport to come in the way that we came, but you don’t have to. Again, if you had guests, they could come in here, and this is the one little separate fabulous area. These are big rooms, big rooms. One, two, three, four, and it’s, I don’t know, probably five meters maybe. One, two, three, four, five, maybe even six meters. You could get king-size beds every single bedroom, and you would still have plenty of space to walk about.
Now, the master, on another room, is upstairs, again, with those stunning, stunning views, so I’m going to meet you up top, but before we do, there’s the other bathroom. Remember, on this side of the house, we’ve got toilet, bathroom, and upstairs, another bathroom. Plenty of room just to indulge. Now wait till this. How big a shower would you like to stand in? Again, there’s no glass, so you feel liberated and exhilarated, but this is just big. Big shower here, big shower here, great features, all very modern, all beautifully renovated, and, of course, a bubbly bath, just so that you can relax with your little calming oils at the end of the day, and the vanity, just beautiful. We’ve got that lovely terrazzo, again, modern but classic feel. stone bench tops, and plenty of space underneath, and of course a mirror to check your lippy. Now we are going to head upstairs.

This is just such a special little spot, almost like a little fairy princess den. Hopefully you’ll have noticed when we came up the stairs, there’s actually a door. If this was the master suite or you didn’t want anyone to come in, or you wanted it to be just rented, or your family having that little special spot for themselves, that door can be closed and then you’re guaranteed all the privacy and all the luxury that you would want. Another big room. I’m not going to pace this out for us, but if you come around here, it’s just massive. You could easily get a king bed there. You could get a king bed here, but you probably want to have your bed there because we will look out at that view. Big walk-in robe, plenty of space. Remember, close your eyes when you’re looking in people’s cupboards.
Plenty of space, plenty of shelving just to put all your bits on, beautiful, and a big– I’m going to keep using that word because I didn’t say at the beginning, oversized, and hopefully, now you can see that the whole– well, the property’s oversized, but the actual rooms are all oversized. This is a bathroom. One, two, three, it’s a four meter bathroom and granite bench tops. Lovely his and her sinks. Gorgeous, probably red cedar doors and plenty of natural light. If we were to actually stand in the shower, we’d be seeing rooftops so you don’t feel hemmed in, but you’re only five minutes from Kuranda Village. Can you believe that? Watch your step. Under here we’ve actually got– we’re not going to look in there, but there’s roof space, so you can get into roof space and fly screened. We’re going to do drum roll. I’m going to meet you out there for that spectacular view. Oh my goodness.

You can just imagine getting up in the morning, and just marvelling weather all year round. Sun, wind, I was going to say snow, but we’re in Tropical, Far north Queensland so we don’t get snow. You’d never tire of looking at that view. As the clouds or the sun comes up it goes down, the colours will just change and you’ll see something different every single time. We can’t help but notice over here that we do have solar. We have a solar system in place, roughly 5 kVA, but we’ve also got a big hot water system as well. 300 liter, hot water system electric. That’s just a couple of little infrastructure bits. We’ve got a post on rail just because we’re up high. Come see, when we come up the driveway here, this is where we did a little bit of an introduction. If you have dogs, perfect because we have dog fencing.
A little gate here. We’ve got a little gate down over here. Bamboo looks just absolutely terrific, and it goes all the way along. Just absolutely sensational. Now, we are going to go back down those stairs, through those rooms and I’m going to meet you at the other side of the house. We are going to get to the other side, but this is another– can you close your eyes, another big cupboard under the stairs. Whilst we’re here, I just want to show you this fabulous little patio area out here. Again, from an orientation point of view, this is where we came up the driveway. This is where the carports are, and just lovely great big posts. Again, you can see the fencing. It just looks beautiful. It’s organic, it’s lifestyle and it is just luxurious. Look at the view. Look at the view, another view from another angle.
Everywhere you look you have got this amazing view. I just love it. Actually, whilst we’re here before we go around the other side, just let’s have a look. From this angle, you can see this is where the master wing, if you like, is up the top. This was the rumpus room with the office of the bedroom, and then another bedroom on the other side. Look at this brilliant fire pit, just sensational. We got a little sneak peek before. That is one side of the balcony when we came in at the beginning, and that’s the other side of the balcony. Then we have got the most amazing pool area right at that side. We’re going to go right back through the house and I’m going to meet you at the pool.

Another fabulous hallway that separates main living from the other three bedrooms and a bathroom. Another beautiful big room in here. Remember everything’s oversized. Love the light fittings. Hopefully, you’ve noticed them in the living area, just beautiful. Plenty of cupboard space. Remember to close your eyes. Nice soft closed drawers. Then these two bedrooms are mirror images of each other. Big rooms, a little Harry Potter cupboard here, great views out to the garden. Little study nook for the kids and fabulous louvers. Up there a little fairy princess den with a little hatch, absolutely spectacular. Let’s go in and we’ll have a look at the other bedroom next door.

Isn’t that absolutely brilliant up there? Before we head into this one, we’re going to have a quick look at that bathroom. Absolutely sensational, modern, fresh tiles. Oh my goodness, talk about luxury and Victorian floor tiles. Beautiful toilet and frosted louvers for privacy, not that you need it. The biggest shower, if ever there was another big shower. We’ve got plenty of big showers all over the house. No glass and just that lovely recess for all your little pampered products. I love these. This is beyond beautiful, just lovely. Big double sink, storage, soft-close drawers again, and just a really pretty room. The other mirror image, we’ve got an additional sliding robe in there. Glass robe doors with beautiful view out there and another little mezzanine, just beautiful. We are going to head out there. You’re going to fall in love with that spectacular entertaining area.

We mentioned about the brick, brick veneer on brick blocks. We have walls about yay thick, and speaking of which, we have got these fabulous lights all the way around the house that are going absolutely nowhere. They’re set in concrete. Wow, we’ve just come out of that room. We do have access to the swimming pool from that room, but if you were living here and you were just, “I want to jump in the pool,” you were probably going to use the regular access which is off the side balcony through a little pool fence gate. Unbelievable entertaining and of course we’ve got that fabulous entertaining area up the side as well. The list goes on and on, but you’ve never seen a pool like this before. I’m sure 110,000 litres of sheer resort-style luxury.
Now, the other thing you’re not going to believe is that it’s heated. 110,000-liter pool, it has what they call a naked water system in it. You can actually almost drink that water. Actually tastes like regular water. Little birds will come in. It’s a system that is very natural but it’s heated all year round. It has a pool heater. Even in the middle of winter when it gets down to, not very low, but your pool will get a bit cooler, you can enjoy it all year round. Sit in here, relax, put your little feet in, have a dangle and for the adults in the family, just look at this. This is just precious. Absolutely precious. We have a spa. One, two, three, four. You could easily get six people in that spa with a waterfall, with a massive house with a phenomenal view, and gorgeous easy-care gardens sitting amongst the rainforest. What is not to love? We are going to have a quick walk around the front of the house and then we are going to head down, and have a quick look at that creek.

Then there’s the hammock. You can just swing a hammock in amongst these palm trees. I just cannot stop marvelling at that. That is just unbelievably special. We’re just going to have a quick look from that part of the garden up to the house and then I promise we are going to head to the creek. Let’s come this way. Gorgeous poles. One, two, three, four, five, six. Easy eight people around about this table. A little pool fence, this way. We should’ve come full circle. It’s magic, absolutely magic. Beautiful tree, color all year round, beautiful tree that is just– Oh, that’s lovely. Tibouchina, I think it might be called. It’s always hard to gauge just how much space you actually have in a garden. As I said, 6.8 acres. We are at the very top of the property and we can see that we are fenced all the way around there.
Beautiful plants in here. Fabulous sparkly sun. We can see the solar system over here. That is a massive entertaining area there and the office or bedroom just in the corner and of course the master wing at the top. We are now definitely going to– quickly via the shed, we’re want to have a look at that creek. We are getting to the creek. I promise it will be worth the wait. This aluminum white, low maintenance, just fabulous doors. Again, big double doors. This is where we came in. The balcony is massive. Too much space. Not too much space. You can never have enough space, but the shed is up here. We came in the driveway, which is all concrete, so you’re not going to have any problems in the wet season. Before we have a look at the shed, we’ve got two other rooms in here.
This is the gardener’s bathroom, an original bathroom where you’ve got a toilet, a shower, and you can put in a couple of little laundry bits. Just pop your head in here. Then we’ve got the room next door. Again, it’s just a room. It’s solid brick and it’s used as a storage room. We could have freezers, you could have storage, you could have camping gear, anything you want in there, but I did mention at the beginning we’ve got roughly 9 meters here, plus another 3 meters on this side and the shed. Everyone has to have a shed. Plenty of storage space. The shipping containers don’t come with a property. They are being moved on, but we still have room for our ride-on mower and plenty of space. That’s a regular six-by-six in there. Plenty of undercover bits for all your fabulous hobbies.
We are heading down to that creek. We’ve just walked down from the house. I did say that it was beautifully elevated, and we can see that we’ve got concrete all the way from the front. You see that the beginning, all the way up there. That takes us up to the house pad and all this land round about us all belonging to a beautiful 6.8 acres. Now the creek runs from the beginning of the road– well, it runs more than that, but on our property, we’ve got Williamson Drive, the creek starts there, and it runs all the way down through, maybe 200 to 300 meters to a little secret garden. We’re going to head down there, and we’re going to have a bit of a walkthrough just a little bit of the creek and I’m going to meet you at the– Well, I’m not going to meet you, I’m going to take you there to that secret garden.

Angela: Unbelievably special. Very few people who have lifestyle properties have the privilege, and I mean privilege of having this. Look at this, in your own back garden. It goes all the way along here, 200 to 300 meters approximately. Beautiful water hole just along there and the most amazing, and I mean amazing walk. Where are you going to find this where you can come and sit and relax? 5 degrees, probably cooler than if you’re sitting up near your swimming pool because we’re in amongst all these beautiful trees. We’ve got water running, just splendid. Now, we’re going to take a bit of a quick walk up there and I’m going to meet you at that secret garden.

Absolutely splendid. We’ll see the tree fans up high. We’ve got beautiful– Look at the size of that palm tree. That is just glorious. Like I said, this path if you’ve got children or we mentioned at the beginning, extended family, this is just an absolute joy. You can hear it. The secret garden is this spot at the end. It opens up into a beautiful, bright, sunny, grassy picnic area. Also, while we’ve got a creek down here, look at that, you can put your feet in there. You can be in there all year round and you would not expect this in any shape or form, but have a look at this. Have a look at this. This is spectacular. You could have a tiny home in here. You could have Airbnb. They come down over the driveway, come down over the little hill, grassed area, and you could be in another world.
What’s really worth mentioning too, is that previously there was development approval on this property for a subdivision. That’s something that you could certainly check again with Mareeba Shire Council. This is unbelievably magical.
