Angela Martin: Hi, I’m Angela Martin and welcome to number 20 Sanctuary Close in Speewah. We’re just going to explore this brilliant lifestyle property, it’s on about six acres, just a fraction over; 6.2 acres, and it has the cutest gorgeousest little house. It is absolutely about lifestyle: it’s got a dam, it’s got a massive big tree bay barn shed, and it’s got a mature orchard with fruit hanging off the trees, about 30 different kinds in total. We’re going to go in and we’re going to have a look, We’re going to have a good old look around and you’re going to fall and love with everything about this property.

Welcome to this gorgeous, little, cute, cute house. Now, a little bit of quick orientation just so that you know where we’re at in terms of where we’ve been. We came up that driveway, beautiful big farm gate, we’ve got dam that we’ll look at shortly, and, of course, that mature orchard. You can see that there’s just so much lovely lush green grass around, that this really does feel like a little oasis. Now let’s go into the house, before we do, I love, love little extras like this. It’s on those little sliders, a little noisy, flyscreens obviously we don’t use them very often, we probably don’t need them.
Both have got flyscreens that pull up and down, and you’ve got gorgeous Queensland maple wooden features all the way through the house. Come on through. We’ve got a living area, the daybed, bedroom, beautiful bathroom, another bedroom and brilliant place for sitting, having your evening meal. This kitchen is really, really lovely. The house I think was built roughly about 2004, and it’s low maintenance and it’s steel construction. As you can see, it’s got the– love drawers, soft closing drawers.
Again, the wooden tactile organic wooden bench top really just fits beautifully with the whole of this property. If you just come over here a little bit, you can see views out to the garden; we’ve got the dam just over there, and, of course, we’ve got a orchard with I think it’s at least 30 different mature trees. I may go on about them being mature, and that’s because it takes forever normally for a tree to fruit. You’ve got access to all of that.
Let’s have a quick look through here. Laundry and storage is huge, plenty of space even for a great big freezer. I don’t know if you can come in here and have a quick look, but we’ve got wall-to-wall shelving, tumble dryer, washing machine. Again, great big freezer, all lovely and tiled, and then this again is all flyscreened. We’ve got a view out there to the veggie patch which we will have a look at. Before we go back outside, have a quick look in the bedroom and the bathroom and the other bedroom, they’ve all got built-ins and it’s also air-conditioned fabulously.

Isn’t this just a brilliant little patio area? You’ll notice too that fencing around the patio, which you don’t have to have but would be brilliant if you’ve got little pets or little dogs that you want to just keep– or little children, that you want to keep in close to the house area. Now, just on this side here, we’ve got veggie patch which we will look at in a minute. That’s over that way, and we’re just going to quickly go down and have a look at this dam because it is– in lifestyle properties when you have got water, and when you’ve got acreage and when you’ve got lovely lush lawns like what we have at the moment, it is just the pleasure to be able to have a picnic to sit in front of like a fire pit, a burning pit, and just marvel at what you actually have in your own back garden.
You can see here, this is exactly what you will love doing whether it’s late afternoon if you’ve got family, if you’ve got friends. There’s a little aerator in the middle there, and when you actually plug it in it’s like a big fountain; looks fabulous. There also used to be red claw and barramundi in the dam. I don’t know if there’s any there now, but you could easily, easily put– the dam is huge. I think it’s about six meters deep. It feels brilliant. I’m going to stop there because I can go on about it but it does feel brilliant. Let’s head up to the orchard and then we’re going to have a quick look at the veggies and then up to that massive shed.

30 different mature ones exotics Tahitian lime, we’ve got Brazilian cherry, we’ve got about three different kinds of bananas over in the veggie patch. We’ve got jabuticaba, we’ve got five star fruit, we’ve got mulberries, dream paradise.

We’ve just come from the orchard and the veggie patch. It’s actually not a veggie patch, it’s a huge big veggie garden area. All got raised beds and if you’re into– or if you would like to be able to have that self-sustainability in growing your own fruit and, of course, your own veggies or herbs, this is just perfectly set up for. It’s got irrigation and everything. Three different kinds of bananas, raised beds. It’s all fully fenced so things like wallabies, little turkeys, they’re just not going to come in and start scrubbing up all your little exciting plants, that’s a bit of mint.
Fabulous little germination area shade house, and we’ve got this great little– it’s like a little baby house for the lawnmower, that just slides two way in and out. We’ve got a chook pen over the other side. As you can see, it’s just a brilliant area perfect for a permaculture, aquaculture, hydroponics and, of course, we’ve got solar hot water that I forgot to mention, on the house, that’s gas boosted as well. All these little energy self-sufficiency benefits if you like, they’re all here. We’ll do a quick walk up to the shed. It’s quite a big steep driveway, but it’s well and truly worth it when you see what’s up the other end, let’s go have a quick look.

We’ve just come up that. It’s quite a steep driveway, but for the health and happiness of all the family, you could either jump in the car, you could jump in a little buggy, or you could get your daily exercise coming from a beautiful flat paddock next to the house and the dam up to the shed. The shed is worth the travelling distance. It’s only 30 seconds away, but it feels really private, it feels like you could have your own little work shed, you can do anything you want with it. It’s massive, concrete floor, it’s got a little steel mezzanine in the center and it’s only a couple of years old, so your own little bit of paradise within an even bigger bit of paradise. It’s brilliant.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this tour of number 20 Sanctuary Close in Speewah. You can see lifestyle just oozing out of every part of this property, from the minute we walk in the driveway, come along brilliant fruit trees in the orchards, that is unbelievably sensational, huge, great, big lily pond or billabong, whatever you would like to call it, is just there waiting for you to dangle your little tootsies or enjoy at the end of the day or on the weekend. Of course, we have another one just here right behind us that is a little bit lower but it’s still another separate gorgeous little billabong.
Veggie area and then upper driveway, of course, we have that brilliant, big, three bay American barn on concrete slab with a huge, big grassed area in front. We’ve got a solar hot water, gas boosted, so if it’s a cloudy in the rainy season like today, you’re always going to have hot water, likewise we’ve got heaps of tanks up the top so you’re never going to run out of water. For people who have dogs or animals, especially dogs, there is actually a line, if you like, a boundary line, for dog perimeter fence, so they just have to wear those little collars if you wanted to, but it’s an option just to let them run free.
Take it in, it is truly, truly magical. Give me a call, Angela Martin, 0403 788 187. Visit the website, angelamartin.tv, you are going to love this lifestyle property.
